The actress who plays the poart of Priyas mother is a vetran and seasoned actress Renuka Israni, who had proved herself time and again starting from the original BR Chopra's Mahabarath till Baat Hamari Pakki hai (it ended on feb here at Sony).

She is an excellent actor and we can see a new facet in her acting prowess, in the months to come.

Yep, that's why I was wonderign that I have seen her somewhere.

She played Gandhari in BR Chopra's Mahabharata.
