The episode begins with Rukmi telling the maids that if someone tries to help Rukmini then that person would be killed. He will not only kill the person who tried to help Rukmini but also his family. Rukmini breaks down to tears. She prays that her love for Krishna is a "tapsya" more than love. If God wants to give a result for true "tapsya", it is His test now. She was not able to tell her heart to Krishna. Now God Himself will have to do this for her.
At Dwaraka, Krishna is playing His flute, a sad tune. Balram comes and stops Krishna. He asks Krishna to go with him and takes Krishna with him. Balram takes Krishna to the place where they practice; and Krishna asks why Balram took Him there. Balram asks Krishna to leave flute and take weapon like a warrior. Balram also describes Krishna's previous deeds which have resulted in the death of many evil people. Balram says he want to see that Krishna in front of him and not a Krishna with flute like woman. Krishna says that if every man has the feelings a woman have then there won't be any war in this world. It will result in the development of the world. Krishna says creator is greater than destroyer. The pain of a woman is greater than the ornaments of a warrior. Balram is angry and says if someone challenges for a war would he give the same advice there also.
Krishna laughs and says that when there is a war He will definitely support war because that is His "dharma". But He wishes that no one challenges for a war. Blaram replies that the world doesn't go according to His wish. Balram takes the flute from Krishna and throws the gadha to Him and asks to take it. Balram says that their spies have reported about Jaransandh's invasion. Balram says that Jarasandh is a great warrior and Krishna's flute or philosophy cannot stop him. So He will have to take weapon. Krishna takes the weapon and tells to it that it is good only in Balram's hand. So He cannot take it. Krishna seeks sorry from the gadha and keeps it on the floor.
Balram is angry. Krishna says he has complete trust in Balram's strength and up until Balram is there He is safe. Balram says that they were able to defeat Jarasandh 16 times; but were unable to kill him. Krishna He did not kill Jarasand; that doesn't mean He don't have the strength to kill him. He could kill Jarasandh even in the first war. But He didn't do so because of a reason. Jarasandh's army is full of demons. He could kill so many demons in these 16 wars. Had He killed all Jarasandh in the first war; He won't be able to decrease the burden of earth by killing so many demons. Balram says but this time he is not going to listen to Krishna and spare Jarasandh. He will kill Jarasandh and also make Dwaraka enemy free for ever. Balram leaves angrily; just then Krishna calls him and requests to return His flute. Balram gives the flute and asks Him to play it for the whole Dwaraka and leaves. Krishna says there isn't any other music that is as sweet as that of His flute. He is trying to give the message that the music of the life must go on even if it is sorrow of happiness. He also adds that but the music of Jarasandh's life has been exhausted. Now who will save Jarasandh from Balram's anger?
Jarasandh kills one of his soldiers. He challenges anyone from his army who dare for a duel with him. A spy comes and tells that the people of Dwarak know about the coming war. Jarasandh asks about the war preparations in Dwaraka. The spy replies that they are not preparing for any war. Krishna even stopped His army from war preparation saying that to get ready to fight with someone like Jarasandh is an insult to His army. Jarasandh is angry and begins to boast about his talents and tells that the over confidence of Balram and Krishna would result in their death.
Rukmini's mother, Bhamini, wakes from a dream in which she saw that Krishna is killed and Rukmini too disowns everything because of sorrow. She is going to a forest like ascetics. Bhishmak consoles her telling that she has just seen a dream. He tells that he has the future many years before. He tells her that he always wished for a daughter and prayed to Mahalakshmi. Mahalakshmi has given him a word that She will take birth as his daughter when Vishnu takes the incarnation as Krishna. Every woman will love Krishna; but She will marry Krisha. Bhamini asks Bhishmak that if Rukmini is the incarnation of Mahalakshmi, then why so many hurdles in Her marriage with Krishna. Bhishmak replies that it is because She is in human form and will have to undergo everything in a man's life.
It is a thunderous night and Rukmini is sitting all alone lost in thoughts. Her two maids come in and close all the doors. They are afraid about the thunder and rain. They fear if it is not a bad omen for some happening. Rukmini is scared.
The atrocities of Jarasandh's army are shown. Krishna is writing something. Balram comes angrily and asks Krishna what He was writing. Krishna says that someone wants to send a message to Him and He is writing the reply for the message. Balram says that the people are afraid of Jarasandh's army and He has stopped the army from war. So He Himself must say what to do next. Krishna replies that they do not need the help of army to fight Jarasandh. Balram says that army is not meant to sit at home and their army will go for war. He is going to order to prepare the army. Krishna asks Balram if he has his gadha with him or not. He is a getting feeling that Balram is afraid. Balram is angry hearing this. Krishna says that Balram is right. If he takes army with him; they might be helpful for Balram. Balram yells at Krishna and tells he alone will go for war. Krishna is happy; but He hides his happiness and says He will do as Balram says and both leaves
Precap: Rukmi asks Rukmini if she don't want to know the reason for his happiness. Rukmi tells that Krishna and Balram are killed by Jarasandh. Rukmini as well as the maids are shocked to hear this
