Rukmi-Shishupal-Jarasandh knows that Krishna is alive

The trio Rukmi-Shishupal-Jarasandh is discussing the matter of Krishna and Balram being alive. All three fumes with anger and Rukmi can't still believe it. Shishupal confirms the news by saying that Balram had written a letter to him. The three decides to speedy for the marriage of Rukmini and Shishupal because if Rukmini comes to know then the matter would go worse.

Rukmini knows that Krishna is alive

Rukmini does Ganga pooja and she prays for the fortune to become Krishna's wife in the next birth at least. Ganga Devi appears before Rukmini. Ganga Devi tells Rukmini that Krishna is alive. Rukmini's joy knew no bounds after hearing this and Ganga Devi gives her the blessing that she will marry Krishna and Ganga Devi disappears.

Rukmini and her parents are imprisoned again

Rukmini shares her happiness with her parents and they are also extremely happy. Bhishmak praises Krishna and someone stamps him from back. It is Rukmi. He yells at his father for praising Krishna in front of Rukmini, who is to be married to Shishupal. Rukmi orders to imprison Bhishmak in his own chamber and don't let him meet Rukmini until she is married. Rukmini cries and Rukmi sarcastically says that if she finishes her tears now; then she won't have tears for her "bidayi". He also tells her that from now on she won't meet anyone except the Brahmin Sudev who will give her teaching about married life. The maids take Rukmini with them and close the door of her chamber. She prays to Durga Maa that from now on she is not afraid of anything; because she is sure that Krishna will come for her.

 Vishnu-Lakshmi conversation

At Vaikund, Mahalakshmi is asking why Vishnu's incarnation is not helping her incarnation Rukmini. Vishnu tells that Krishna is bound with human limitations. Lakshmi says that Rukmini is also in the same situation. Vishnu says that the right time has entered Rukmini's palace and they show the entry of Sudev.

 Sudev to help Rukmini

Sudev tells her that he has come to teach her about married life. He tells about the responsibilities of a woman. She tells him about her love and the forceful marriage to Shishupal. She says that he is supporting injustice by supporting Rukmi. Sudev thinks for a while and then folds his hands and requests Rukmini to show him the right path and can he help her.

 Sudev in Dwaraka

Sudev meets Krishna and Krishna welcomes him. Sudev denies the welcome saying that Krishna is a rich king and he is a poor Brahmin who is not eligible for the welcome. Krishna says that the richest person in the world is the one who has knowledge with him because knowledge is the only wealth which doubles by giving. Sudev is plesed with the reply of Krishna. Krishna asks for the purpose of his arrival. Sudev tells that he has come here as the messenger of Rukmini and he hands over the message to Krishna.

PRECAP: Krishna is reading Rukmini's message which says that if Krishna doesn't come she won't take leave from Kuntinpur; but her dead body will be leaving Kuntinpur.

Thanks a lot for the update!

Ok so finally Krishna gets Rukmini's messageπŸ˜‰ I wonder why did the first unsuccessful message delivery by Chamkila thing ever take placeπŸ˜•
Lakshmi keeps on telling Vishnu that he should help Rukmini. Gods too can be impatient at timesπŸ˜†
Btw Revathi should read that message, wonder what her reaction would be?πŸ˜‰

Thanks for the detailed update Lakshmi πŸ€— Was surprised to learn that Ganga Maiya flows in present day Nagpur πŸ˜•πŸ˜† But Rukmini's dialogue towards the end with the brahmin was good. The way she reminds him or his duty brought to mind Sushen's dilemma from Ramayan. Thankfully they allowed Sudev to get her point right away and didn't spend a week having them argue about it first or having him get lost in the forest or showing the guards at Dwarika refuse to let him in. Brahmin convinced, letter delivered, simple as that. Hopefully they have rectified the issues with the pace permanently, no more Chamkila weeks to slow us down. Looking forward to Krishna's response, Vishal is sure to deliver it with charm!

Good episode, loved the way they showed events progressing as Krishna plays his bansuri. All the gods are aware of the future events, so here Gangama came to guide  Rukmani. Krishna, praised Suved Brahman, for his knowledge, that was very nice. Thanks for the update😊

You beat me to it - they could have shown Rukmini taking a dip in the river Tapti, which is the one that flows thru Vidharbha.  So in addition to being mytho challenged, the PH is geography challenged as well πŸ˜†  But is Kundinpur where Nagpur is today?  Wiki has it as Amravati, but of course, they too can be wrong!

I liked the opening, when Sishupala broke the news to Rukmi of Krishna being alive, when Rukmi asked Jarasandha whose ashes did you bring me πŸ˜†πŸ€£  That was just too funny for words.  This is one case where the dramatization has been brilliant πŸ˜†

Glad that they didn't show Sudev run into any problems (okay, I won't nitpick about the Brahmin's name being Sunanda).  But the demonization of Rukmi continues - even w/ what's been shown so far, I was shocked when he suddenly kicked his father 😑 and the latter fell to the ground, and neither Rukmini nor his mother thought about slapping him or even reproaching him.  And if one falls to the bare floor and bumps his head, it'll get bruised, unless it lands on something like broken glass.  Yet, here, Bheeshmaka started bleeding when he landed on the ground πŸ€”

Somehow, the PH seems to be of the opinion that unless Krishna's enemies are excessively demonized, his enemity w/ them cannot be rationalized.  This is hogwash!  All of his enemies - Jarasandha, Sishupala, Rukmi, Shalva, Narakasura, et al were on very good terms w/ their own families and people, but ruthless towards others, which is why Krishna was on hostile terms w/ them.  In fact, Kamsa was unique in mistreating his entire family (excepting his wives) the way he did.  So Krishna's enemity w/ all of the above could have been justified for a lot of reasons, even had they been shown having normal relationships w/ their people.  The vilification of Rukmi, Jarasandh and Sishupala were really uncalled for.

I'm glad that Bheeshmaka was shown wearing a proper crown - they need to give the same to Jarasandha, Rukmi and Shishupala.  Looking @ the battle episodes, Jarasandha went into battle w/o even a Trojan helmet like Balaram's πŸ˜†  In reality, rulers wore their crowns, like Ravan, Kumbhakarna & Indrajit when they battled Rama & Lakshman, just that they also wore under their clothes metal armor and shoulder cups.  The costumes of most of the royal cast still needs work.

It was funny to see Vishnu suggest to Lakshmi that she go down and alert Krishna about Rukmini's feelings πŸ˜†  But more significantly, Krishna is normally (including in this serial) depicted as knowing about his divinity (unlike Rama), but here, from the Lakshmi-Narayan conversation, it seemed that Krishna doesn't know what's going on in Rukmini's mind unless someone tells him πŸ˜•  Isn't he supposed to be omniscient?

In the original story, Krishna told Sunanda that he too liked Rukmini, but thought that since Bheeshmaka was a vassal and Rukmi an ally of Jarasandha, he was unwelcome.  However, once he knew what Rukmini wanted on reading that letter, that changed his mind.

I didn't get what you meant when you suggested that Revathy read that message.  Incidentally, when Rukmini was writing it, one thing looked strange.  In those days, common people wrote on palm leaves by penetrating the leaf w/ a sharp pen.  Royalty usually wrote on fabric scrolls by dipping a pen in an ink dye repeatedly and writing w/ it.  In Rukmini's case, she didn't need an ink bottle - looked like she probably had marker pens w/ which to write on that scroll πŸ˜†πŸ€£

Isn't this entire thing great, there Vishnuji is discussing with Laxmiji about different actions of people on earth, inclding their own incarnations & here we are discussing about their scenes & actions on earth, same to sameπŸ˜ƒ
