She came running to the hospital to see him
Her eyes full of concern and heart full of feelings.
He lay in bed watching her bumbling steps
Laughing and smirking yet feeling light.
They saw each other, eyeing one another silently
Their faces displaying their emotions.
The dam broke, the words flowed.
The comfort evident & something more brewing inbetween.
The cholesterol 800, the weight unsaid, the diet unfollowed
The high BP & pills indicating the real problem.
Like a whiff of fresh air, a panacea
She was there for him sitting and smiling.
Her mehendi washed early, still bright and red
Reflecting her deeper feelings.
They talked and laughed; smiled and exchanged
Their hearts brimming with unsaid feelings.
Happy in each others company
Formal yet informal; a notion of belonging.
The air thick and atmosphere so magical
Two souls interacted unmindful of everything.
The scene so wonderful the moments simply enchanting
Endearing this unique couple to all and sundry.
