Balarama, Revathy, Krishna & Rukmini are doing a Ganesh Chaturthi puja. The pundit tells them they're all warned not to look @ the moon, due to a curse given by Ganesh to the moon that whoever looks @ it will be cursed. The pundit performs the puja and narrates to them some story of Ganesh, and during that narration, Balarama/Revathy & Krishna/Rukmini are exchanging romantic looks 🤔❤️ (should they be doing that during a puja/yagna: ain't they supposed to be completely attentive to the puja/yagna?)
Suddently, a storm knocks the curtains off leaving the window exposed, and Krishna turns & looks thru the window. The clouds separate, exposing the the moon to Krishna 😲 The others are shocked and Balarama quickly asks the guards to block the moon w/ the curtains (Dau-ji, it's called locking the stables after...) He then asks the pundit whether anything could reverse this, but the pundit tells them that the damage is done. Rukmini begs the pundit, and is worried that some major calamity is about to befall them. The pundit tells her that there's nothing that can be done. Rukmini is alarmed, but Krishna calmly looks @ the drapes now blocking the window 😆
Satrajit is doing his pre-dawn puja to the Syamantaka mani, while Prasenjit is observing. He asks Satrajit whether he can ask him a question. Just then, Satrajit's wife passes the other side of the bed w/ an empty jewelry box, and Satrajit is furious and knocks her down, and orders her to leave the room 😡 He then asks Prasenjit what was his question, but Prasenjit tells him to forget it.
Next morning, Krishna is getting ready to leave, and Rukmini wakes up and apologizes for outsleeping him. Krishna tells her that he was already up, and that they all did sleep rather late. Rukmini begs him not to go, telling him that she was scared about the omens. Krishna tells her that she's concerned about him b'cos she considers him part of herself. Similarly, all of Dwarka belongs to him, and if anybody is about to do something that's destructive, it's his duty to warn them. Rukmini tells him that she won't stop him if that's his rationale, but begs him to be careful.
In Satrajit's chamber, a bunch of people are gathered to witness what he promises them is a miracle that can exceed anything that Krishna can do 😕 Two of Prasenjit's guards tell him how they are appalled @ Satrajit's behavior, and his treatment of his elder brother, and Prasenjit too looks disgruntled. Then the sun rises, and the gem glows more brightly than ever. Everybody cheer, and Satrajit is overjoyed, and claims how this is greater than anything Krishna could have done.
Krishna is headed for Satrajit's home, and passes Ramaiya, who has 2 pitchers in her arms. He looks @ her sadly and continues.
Satrajit continues to gloat about the powers of his gem and how it's superior to anything Dwarkadheesh could have done, when Krishna enters. Satrajit accuses him of coming for the gem. Krishna tells him that the reason he had asked him to deposit it into the royal treasury was that the gem was cursed, and was completely corrupting his soul. Satrajit accuses him of coming up w/ some new trick to steal this from him. Saying this, Krishna leaves.
Satrajit's wife rushes to Krishna and falls @ his feet, begs him to take the gem, telling him that it's made her life hell, and changed her husband for the worse. Satrajit is furious @ this, and goes to her and pulls her up by her hair, accusing her of betraying him. Krishna tells her that after seeing how Satrajit insults his wife in public, he knows that the gem has destroyed his soul, and that perhaps, it's too late to do anything about it.
While Krishna is returning to the palace, he sees Ramaiya drawing water from a well. He dismounts, and takes the rope that she was using to draw the water, and offers to help her. Ramaiya reminds him that when they did ask him for his help, he turned his back on them, and so now, his assistance is unwanted. She then lets go of the rope that Krishna is holding, picks up her pot of water and then leaves. (This part looked a tad unseemly: it seemed that Ramaiya was treating him as an untouchable - the moment he touched the rope, she let go of it) Krishna looks @ her sadly.
New Promo
The below was the precap to this episode, but a new promo shows Satrajit in Balarama's court accusing Krishna of stealing his jewel, and killing Prasenjit. Everybody is shocked to hear this. (So the justice that happened here, as per the CVs, is Krishna undergoing the same accusations that Raman was, so that the moral is that the way Krishna handled the situation is the way Raman should have handled it. I'll update the promo below once it's available)

P.S. In the meantime, feel free to participate in the poll above, and weigh in on which characters are being badly maligned by the serial. Multiple choices allowed, although you can select everybody or nobody as you see fit, if that's what you think.
