Remembers in black & white - going doubles on the cycle with her kObi button (poththaan) kissing him on the cheek, kObi holding her when she was about to fall, bus ride seated next to him, talking and walking on the road. Also remembers Pandi's acts of taking the thaali to tie it around her neck, Pandi about to hit KObi's head but the rod hitting hers - she holds her head. Looks around, realises she is in the hospital. Gets down from the bed, walks to the corridor - finds the crowd there. Pushpa is the first one to see Maha. Sokku too follows Pushpa's look. Pushpa comes running to Maha in all excitement - ennai peththavaLE she cries (indhammakku uRavu marandhudichchO??) Can you identify me asks Pushpa, Maha opens her thiruvaai and asks for her kObi aththaan. Sokku, Deivs, Pushpa, Meens, Sam, Sumathi all grinning. On hearing that Maha is okay he too runs inside. Maha repeats her dialogue to Pirai who says yes yes all fine. The doctor comes in - asks if they would not inform the doctor if the patient regained consciousness. Good question. Maha asks the doctor too about her kObi aththaan. The doctor asks the crowd to disperse. All leave, Sam comes to the doctor and says en sisterOda brother naanu, can I stay back to help. Green shirt Pink trousers Sam also is shown the door. Outside Pushpa telling that our saami did help us. Pirai is happy that she is normal, but she is asking for Gopi he says. Pushpa adhukkuthaan aasaipattuchchaam. The doctor and Maha come out. A scan is to be done, bring her. Again Gopi aththaan - thaangaladaa saami solli doctor wants that fellow to be summoned. But before that bring her for the scan. One man comes looking for NA. Veetu vaasal la calls hullo ..anyone home? Vanitha comes out. He wants to see NA - he is my father says Vanitha. lOlaayee asks Vanitha who is that - seeing a young man at the door she rushes. He sits and says the house is very nice. lOls thanks him, asks Vanitha to get coffee. The man wants the coffee to be strong. lOls asks how is NA maama murai? Some new murai says the man. (lOls innaikku vaanga pOgudhu NAkitta) He asks about the DILS standing there. Mallika gets introduced as the elder DIL with her name specified, Kamz is just mentioned as 2nd... he asks if she too is a daughter - no no DIL. Vanitha is the daughter. Now she probes him to tell, but he wants to have the coffee first. Vanitha gives him the coffee and the man asks if Vanitha is married. No is the reply. The man tells to himself that maama never told that. Again lOls asks how he is related (innaikku ellaarum dialogue repeat modepaa) The man instead asks if Maams never tells anything at home. He is the groom he has seen for Veera. lOls turns all smoky. NA arrives when the man is at the door. Asks why he came here. Good thing to ask - is this how one treats a guest he asks. He said yes although Veera was 2nd channel's daughter. Gopi reaches the hospital. Pushpa rushes to him and says Maha has regained her consciousness. After recognising Pushpa the next thing she spoke was of Gopi. Gopi is Maha's everything says Pushpa crying and in a loud voice. The doctor comes out. Pushpa asks if Maha is alright - for her to get cured is in their hands replies the doctor. Physically she is all right, but mentally rather problems in the brain . adhu eppO fix paNNeenga doctor apdinu Pushpa orE shocked. Dont panic says the doctor. Gopi wants the doc to explain things properly. No shocking news to Maha please is doc's statement. She can go into coma if any adverse reactions. Pirai tells the doctor why telling new new things (pazhasa sonnaa IF makkaL ennaiya kondruvaanga) All of them look at Gopi. Be careful the doctor warns before leaving. - Be patient with the patient . This is for the next 3 months. Tomorrow discharge. Now have injected her to rest. Maha comes out, sees Gopi aththaan. Wants him to stay with her all the time. Sam too says he would stay. She asks him to go and do his work. Gopi asks Maha to rest. Sokku thoughtful - worried.
Maha sleeping. The crowd called family sit around the bed. Pushpa calls Pirai out. Tells him must remove the thaali on Maha's neck. What to answer when she asks about the thaali? Must remove now. Gopi only should marry her. If Maha wants she will get it done, let us go and do it right away she tells Pirai. Sokku lands there, asking what is the problem. Pushpa wants to remove the thaali. Deivs tells her not to do it , kOdi puNyam for you. Pushpa only wants her daughter and Gopi as the SIL, not the Kodi puNyam. Sokku tells her not to be hasty and to talk of nice things nicely. Pushpa is adamant to remove the thaali. Meens ask her what she is doing? Shut up and mind your business she tells Meens. (this Pushpa needs a hit on the head) She takes the thaali to remove it. Gopi looks on stunned. The whole family is looking on with troubled faces. When Pushpa is about to remove the thaali - Maha wakes up. Looks at the thaali - asks how come thaali on my neck? Gopi aththaan you did tie the thaali she asks - kaNNula thaaliya oththikittE - only face to be happy there is that insepid Pushpa. All the others are 😠🤔
