Krishna is on his chariot headed home while Ramaiya's words ring in him. Prasenjit recalls what his companions told him, and sees Satrajit asleep. He sees the syamantaka gem, sees his opportunity and takes it and goes to the woods, laughing and puts it on there and gets on his horse.and starts riding. Krishna too is headed home. On the way, Prasenjit sees Krishna and gets scared. They both come to a halt.
Krishna asks him how that gem came into his possession. Prasenjit claims possession of it on grounds of being his elder brother. Krishna tells him that it was improper of him to have taken it w/o Satrajit's consent. Prasenjit tells him that it's a family affair, but Krishna points out that it's a wrongdoing, and it's his duty to prevent that from happening as ruler of Dwarka. He asks Prasenjit to turn it over to him, but Prasenjit laughs @ him and tells him that he's after it. Ramaiya arrives and is witnessing this scene. (How convenient! And what a way to work her into this story!) Krishna tells him that he's being infected by the same sort of behavior that's overcome Satrajit, and now, his warning him about it is going to be unheeded. Ramaiya at this point leaves, and Krishna asks Daruka to move on.
In Dwarka, Balarama is practicing w/ his mace, when Revathy comes in and tells him that Krishna is missing. Balarama demands to know where he is, and Revathy tells him that Rukmini told her he's in Satrajit's house to warn him. Balarama is furious that Krishna is still after all this, and decides to go and get him. Just then, Krishna arrives and Balarama demands to know why he was @ Satrajit's house, telling him that he has to think about his own security b4 that of others, and he doesn't want to talk about any of this b4 the puja.
Next morning, Satrajit discovers his jewel missing and beats up his servants. His wife arrives and tells him that Prasenjit was missing since last night. He tells his other attendents to join him as he decides to go and hunt down Prasenjit. Just then, Ramaiya arrives, and tells him that she had overheard Krishna demanding the gem from Prasenjit. (Great idea - Ramaiya gives false witness to implicate Krishna, even though she saw Prasenjit wearing the gem. Incidentally, has this woman forgotten that she still has a son to live for, instead of trying to wage a war on Krishna?) Satrajit vows to slay Krishna and draws his sword, and his wife is shocked. They all leave, leaving Mrs Satrajit & Ramaiya there. Outside, others see Satrajit enraged, and he tells them that Krishna had stolen the syamantaka gem. Everybody is shocked to hear that and decide to go to the palace to confront him, leaving alone Amod (Thomas), who is stunned to hear what he did. (This is too funny - so many fictitious characters - Ramaiya, Amod embedded in this Syamantaka gem story 🤣 Maybe next they'll subject us to a catfight b/w Amod's mom & Ramaiya)
In the palace temple, a puja is being performed by Balarama, Revathy, Rukmini & Krishna, but this time to Mahadev, so that he orders Ganesh to forgive them 🤔 The pundit tries to light a diya, but fails to do it. Then Rukmini tries it, but she too has to struggle to make it light. 😕 Krishna tries to tell Balarama about his encounter w/ Prasenjit, but Balarama tells him not to talk about anything until the puja is over. He & Revathy pray to Shiva for Krishna to be spared, while Krishna prays to Shiva to give his family the strength they need to withstand everything they are destined to suffer. Finally, Rukmini manages to light the diya, but after Revathy & Balarama have done the arati, the moment Krishna touches the thali offered to him by Rukmini, the diya goes off 😲 (It's funny to see the concern on others when Krishna is getting battered w/ apshakuns, and Rukmini is failing to light a diya.)
Satrajit and his men arrive @ the mandir. Two guards stop them telling them that nobody can interrupt this puja, but they force their way in. Satrajit then yells that Krishna is a thief, and Revathy, Balarama, Rukmini & Krishna all turn to look @ him.
