Rajan Shahi's Hawan which was recently launched onColors has sworn to keep the viewers at the edge of their seats by throwing in surprising twists at regular intervals.

As there is always an evil to curb the positive element,Hawan will soon introduce a negative character who will pose a threat to Baapji in the show. A source informs, "Darpan Shrivastava who is famous for his negative characters has bagged the role of Samar Singh who has some old issues with Baapji due to which he envies Baapji and has returned back to take revenge."

When prodded further, the source states, "Samar Singh will initially behave very friendly and share a good rapport with Baapji but in reality has very bad intentions towards Baapji."

On a side note, Darpan Shrivastava will also make a comeback in Imagine TV's Baba Aiso Varr Dhundoalong with Saillesh Gulabani who will play his son.

We contacted Darpan and he confirmed, "My character will soon enter the show but I can't divulge any further details about the same."

Seems like Baapji is in for some serious threat whereas the viewers for some intense drama...

After portraying the loving son in Colors' Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Pracheen Chauhan is all set to enter Rajan Shahi's popular show Hawan.

A source says, "Pracheen will enter as a person who is in love with Astha played byShrenu Parikh. The character will be positive initially and will turn grey as the story unfolds."

When contacted, Pracheen confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I am doing the show, but I cannot divulge any details regarding it."

Pracheen's character will be a cameo and after Swarg this is the second time Pracheen will be associated with Rajan Shahi, his production house and the same channel. 

The actor has already started shooting for it and his entry will be shown in the coming episodes of the show.

UTV's next on Sony TV, Mehendi Rang Layegi which is supposed to be a remake of hit-Tamil show Metti Oli, has swung back to its production work which was on halt for a few months.

Due to the delay several actors who were finalized have moved onto other shows.Thus, the production house has begun it's casting process once again.

A source suggests,"Ekta Tiwari, last seen inStar Plus's Tere Mere Sapne, has been tipped to play Prabha, the elder sister, a caring and responsible member of the family. The role was earlier offered to Shubhangi Atre who has now taken up Rajan Shahi's Hawan due to the delay."

Ekta Tiwari refused to comment on the same.

The show is expected to go on floors after Balaji's Bas Itni Si Baat, starring Mona Jaswir Singhand Pawan Shankar, begins shoot. 

With this Sony TV has geared up for a new offering in the New Year!

Rajan Shahi's Hawan on Colors, which came to Indian television with a unique concept, might soon be pulled off air due to consistently low TRP's.
 
According to our source, "The channel might take Rajan Shahi's Hawan off air sometime in March. The show will be replaced by Shashi-Sumit Mittal's next show tentatively titled Kairi, whereJay Bhanushali will play the main lead."

We contacted Rajan Shahi who refused to comment.

We also tried contacting Kunal Vermawho told Tellybuzz, " It's not true. We haven't got any news about the show going off air." 

Shashi-Sumit Mital is coming up with their next show on Colors, titled Kairi,which will have Jay Bhanushali playing the male lead. The latest we hear is that the female lead has also been finalized.
 
According to our source, " Preeti Chaudharywho is now seen in Colors' Hawan as Baapji's daughter and was also seen  in Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, will play female lead in the show. She will be seen opposite Jay in the show. The show is a family drama wherein the lead boy has a fair complexion and the girl is of dark complexion."

We have already reported about Leena Jumaniand Prachee Pathak to be a part of the show.
