Vasu on the bike with Bell (??) on the pillion. Both of them show us a few shots of Chennai. Avinash & CM get back home. Chithapmaams with Bharathi asks what happened. Vadai gone missing at Shastri Nagar. Avinash has called the police CM updates Chithapmaams who says the inspector already home, seated inside on the phone. Avinash and CM rush inside. Chithapmaams murmurs that the inspector has time only to talk on the phone. The Inspector is talking to some Sait... Avinash & CM sit, the Inspector finishes the call, asks if the thief entered through the back door or the front door, what are the things gone missing. Before CM could answer he gets a call from the same Sait - the Inspector does not want cheque but cash. He disconnects the call. Not robbery but CM's hubby gone missing they manage to say. The inspector got confused with another case in the next street. He now gets a call from his wife who wants jewellery from the Sait and not cash, the Inspector promises to try. So how long hubby missing he questions - months, weeks? No since morning is CM's ,the Inspector laughs (siriyyaa siri... enga pozhappu ippadi sirippaa sirikkudhu) - must have gone out on work, would be back by evening or tomorrow - he is not a child chides the Inspector. But he is physically challenged chorus CM and Avinash. CM tells of their argument the earlier day and the Inspector concludes that CM was the reason for Vadai wheeling away. (yov.. argue senjaa purushan kaaNaama pOiduvaangaLaa) Avinash offers to explain - the explanation given very diplomatically. The inspector wants a written complaint. But CM does not want it to appear in the newspapers (ivaru enna gold vadaiyaa paperla news vara) why why asks the inspector. Because my purushar does not like it and would never return replies the patni CM. She also wants to know how long would the police take to find her hubby. About 6 months says the Inspector, if younger people then they return when they run out of money but with these people it would take longer because they like to hurt people back home . Since he is physically challenged discount given - would be found in 6 months. A dejected CM leaves asking Avinash to do the needful. Vasu reaching home . Amudha questioning him the middle of the road. Annan not found is Vasu's reply. Amudha feels sorry for her aNNi who is alone with the baby. Bell tells Amudha that Vasu hasnt even had lunch searching for Vadai. Amudha storms into the house. Bell goes on another search round, while Noseringless wants to see Amudha one hand - drags her son inside. Vasu wants to be served (adhaan saapaadu munnaadi irukkula - self service senjukka vENdiyadhuthaanE) Amudha is sad and so she will not. Tu Tu Mein Mein happens between MIL & DIL. Vasu calls for a truce - anyway both refuse to serve him food. Noseringless informs of some Mani visiting for ration card name change. Vasu had forgotten about it. Neither the MIL or DIL answered the door when the bell rang. Amudha was sitting in the room brooding, so will your brother be found questions Vasu. Now lage lage between husband and wife, which turns to another episode of TTMM. Both of them leave in different directions leaving a hungry Vasu, who leaves for his room.
Kavitha looking at the clock waiting for her husband. Next round of lage lage. Bell rings the bell. The maid Rajam opens the door. Bell asks for Kavitha. Inside is Rajam's reply. Okay get food ready he says. No food is Rajam's reply - Kavitha reaches there promptly telling Rajam to go inside and not talk to strangers. Rajam laughs and leaves. Kavitha irritates Bell, talks ill of Amudha, Bell asks her to stop it, Vadai is also his BIL. Kavitha is sent inside the bedroom by Bell, the child cries. Kavitha takes the child scolds him and beats the child. Bell takes the child away - tells she should not beat the child, if she is angry with him the anger should be directed against him. Both fight for the baby, Kavitha takes the child, makes him sit on the bed and throws Bell out of the house. One night out would teach Bell a lesson is Kavitha's brain wave.
CM has visuals of the amman silai. Then Vadai asking her to leave things go and sleep - in anger, the earlier day. She telling him that Vadai makes her cry very often (appo pakkodavukku maarunga!)
