                      It's the story of Kunal chopra.He lives with his parents and 2younger brothers(Gaurav,Anand) and sis(Raveena).Kunal chopra was very intelligent and gold medalist in law college.He loves richa(daughter of famous&rich lawyer DK Thakral).After graduating he joins Thakral's law firm.Kunal turns down a case suggested by thakral as the case is not genuine one and he can't go against the ideologies taught by his father.Thakral makes his life hell by firing him from job and sees that he doesn't get a job anywhere.

                     Kunal gets into construction business investing his family's money and shop(their source of income) but Thakral destroys that also.As a result the Chopra's loose all their wealth and move into small flat with Gaurav being their sole bread winner.Kunal after so many failures looses interest in life and sits idle at home.Richa who always supported her father dumps kunal as he's not ready to say sorry to her father and for being a looser.

                     After some yrs Anand(Kunal's younger most bro whom he loves a lot) graduates from law college.Under certain circumstances Anand had to take up job at Thakral's firm where he meets Siddhi.Both fall for each other but Anand doesn't express his love for siddhi b'coz kunal doesn't like siddhi.After so many hungamas,ha's and na's finally their mrg will be settled.Thakral can't digest the fact that Chopra's are having happiness in their lives,so he fires Anand from his job on the day of his roka.


                      Anand manages to get another job.Meanwhile Raveena (kunal's sis) is saved by siddhi from getting arrested along with thakral's son and takes the blame on herself.Anand still trusts Siddhi though Kunal talks bad about her.Finally thakral reveals the truth to Chopras to embarass them on the day of sangeet.Siddhi clears that Raveena is innocent and Thakral is trying to frame her.Marriagerg preparations are going on but Anand gets a dream where siddhi gets killed in bomb blast.

                  Anand's mrg with Siddhi n Richa's mrg with some guy were on same day.First Richa herself left Kunal n agreed to marry the guy her dad chose for her but on the day of mrg she sends voice mail to Kunal that if he didn't come n stop her mrg she'll commit suicide n he'll be made responsible for that.At that time Kunal is in some puja n Anand sees the msg n goes to meet Richa to warn her to stay away from his brother's life n in btw becomes victim of bomb blast.So Kunal blames Richa for being the cause of Anand's death(as anand wouldn't have gone out if she hadn't called n threatened abt her suicide)Kunal's mother goes into coma out of shock

                Sinal get married for sake of Veena and Anand's last wish.Richa tries to create a scene in their mrg but kunal confronts her and send her away.Later richa comes to know of Sinal's marriage being a compromise,so she comes to chopras house along with Thakral and offers Kunal his own law firm,secure life etc if he divorces Siddhi n marries her.Kunal insults them.siddhi asks her fil permission for rejoining Thakral's firm,after hesitation he agrees but Kunal asks her not to go there as she'll be insulted.as usual Thakral removes siddhi from her job.Gaurav confronts Kunal that simply marrying isn't ok,he should be responsible.

                     So both Sinal go in search of job to the same law firm.Siddhi gets job but Kunal doesn't.She rejects her job n suggests Kunal's name for the job.lots of Sinal's scenes in btw and during one such scene Richa sees Sinal together and gets frustrated.She sends msg to siddhi to meet her urgently.Kunal sees the msg.Richa offers job n promotion to Siddhi.Kunal tells that he knew she can stoop to any level.Richa blames Kunal for Anand's death and later says its just accident n he should stop blaming himself for that.

                    Kunal tells the same to Siddhi that he should have been in Anand's place during the blast.siddhi comforts him that Anand wouldn't like his words.Kunal asks her not to join Richa as they can go to any extent to ruin them.Karvachauth comes n kunal asks her not to keep fast as theirs is only namesake relation but Siddhi forced by family keeps fast.Kunal joins his new job.Siddhi receives court notice in name of Raj chopra as they have to pay 1.2lacs rental lease which was due immediately.So she takes up richa's offer.Richa intentionally calls Kunal on KC n tells him about siddhi accepting her job.Kunal shouts on siddhi infront of all for not caring about her self respect n joining thakral.Later he gets to know about rental notice n feels sorry for her.Few light family moments,sinal understanding each other etc.


                        Raveena-Rohit love each other.A girl Nisha comes to Kunal to file a case against Rohit thakral for cheating her by marrying her n not accepting the marriage.Kunal accepts the case,knowing this Richa gives the case to Siddhi(saying that rohit is innocent) to create mu's btw them.Sinal support each other even after knowing that they are fighting against each other but decide  not to reveal that to their  family Richa comes to know that kunal got job b'coz of Siddhi's recommendation,kunal gets mad over siddhi.With this oppurtunity richa again makes friendship with Kunal n tries to create mu's btw Sinal.As the case proceeds differences started creeping btw them b'coz of Richa who also leaks the info about Sinal fighting against each other to media so that their family knows this.Kunal blames Siddhi again.All this while Richa tries to get close to Kunal.
