I think it was more of a theme than a series, like the "water crime stories" a few years ago. The body count was notably high indeed, but I'm relieved that the R-factor (mutilation and violence) wasn't so high (last year's Aadhi Laash episode was far worse than all these 4 combined, I think!). Only this last Saturday's episode came a bit close to the "Rakht Chinha" title to some extent, the others were pretty average. The team making cool logical deductions from tiny bloodstains would've been so awesome, but I don't expect anything of that sort from the current batch of writers.
Anyway, looking forward to see what this week has in store.
