Continued -
Now she attempts for the last time saying that she called on the college landline but fails even this time as Chirag didn't go to college that day. KD tells her to speak the truth and she accepts that she didn't warn him because she thought he deserved it. In a flashback she tells the court how Chirag rejected her the day before race when she talked about their marriage. Back in the present, she says that she started hating him and so didn't do anything but she didn't know the result would be his death. KD asks her did she do all this in order to take her revenge? Sushmita says she didn't do anything.
Faisal says he wants to speak the truth. The prosecutor tells him to continue and he starts. He says that everyone is right and he wanted to pour oil at the place but just in an intention to break Chirag's bones and nothing else. That day he went with oil but suddenly remembered his father and rejected his plan thinking about him. The prosecutor asks did he take the oil with him? Faisal nods his head and the prosecutor calls his father in the witness box. His father comes and says his son came with the box but it was empty. Faisal is alarmed and asks what he's saying? His father tells him the box was really empty and he's saying the truth. The prosecutor gets a strong point and he says now his father only says his son is the killer. KD takes the box and shows a leak made on the bottom of it. He then explains someone else must have done this to trap him but the prosecutor says Faisal can be the one.
KD calls Brando's father Mr. Narang and reveals he tried to convince him with 2 crores to leave this case. First he rejects what KD said but KD manages to make him accept the truth. Mr. Narang says once he heard his son talking about Chirag and it seemed as he's going to kill him. But when Faisal was arrested and not Brando, he got a bit relieved.
KD calls Brando and he defends himself saying that he just threatened him and nothing else. While these proceedings, the clock strikes 5 and the court is adjourned.
In the office, KD is discussing the case with Varun and he doubts Brando. Then Varun is shown with his bike and he chases Brando and one more biker is there. Suddenly, a truck hits Brando and he falls down on the road lying in an unconscious state. The another biker signals Varun and he tries to catch him but isn't successful.
In the hospital, Brando is under the custody of doctors and KD, Varun, Narang and other guys are present there along with a policeman. Brando gains consciousness and the policeman asks him about Chirag's murderer. He tells something and then dies after a few seconds. His father asks the name and the policeman says he said Faisal.Edited by Shruti_HR - 12 years ago
