The Fortnight began with apprehension & confusion but ended with love & hope!!
: Babas Shocker :
Nidhi is in a dilemma after knowing her father (in reference to her cousin Mandira who is married to an older man) is against a marriage that has huge age differences. She is frustrated to an extent that when Ashutosh calls her up to ask how she is doing, she doesn't talk properly to him. Ashutosh is shocked to see Nidhi behave like this. Ashutosh is very upset with the way Nidhi is behaving with him and orders her to meet him. She meets him but is very upset and Ashutosh is upset too seeing her like this. Seeing her cry, he offers his handkerchief to her to wipe her tears!
: Disco Disaster :
Mallika is discharged from the hosp and RanJi patch up ..! The duo even go out for a DISCO nite and this gives Nidhi an idea to invite Ashu for a Disco nite! After Nidhis persuasion and Armaans motivation, Ashu finally agrees to go to the Disco! Ashutosh is visibly uncomfortable at seeing the crowd at the disco who are are half his age. Nidhi asks Ashutosh to join her in the dance, but chooses to sit alone. He tells her to go ahead and dance with Rohan.Rohan and Nidhi dance well together. Ashutosh too feels his self-confidence returning when a young girl starts chatting him up, visibly attracted to him. But the girl wonders what he is doing when his girlfriend is dancing with someone else. Ashutosh feels a little jealous seeing Rohan and Nidhi dance so well together and jell together. Suddenly, a young girl calls him 'Uncle' and Ashutosh is offended. He gets up and walks out. Nidhi follows him he is upset. Nidhi decides to leave with Ashutosh. Ashutosh drops Nidhi at her place.Nidhi tells him there is nothing to be embarrassed about not being able to dance. A lot of people cannot dance. But Ashutosh is not placated. Ashutosh shares his humiliation at the disco with Arman. Araman tells him that he needs to be prepared as now every time he will have to face the situation because of their age difference. Nidhi offers Ashutosh to enroll them both in the dance class but Ashutosh refuses. Ashutosh tells Mallika about how humiliating he felt last night at the disco. Mallika rubs in the age gap point between AshNi.
: Dinner Dirama :
Mallika invites Ashutosh over dinner with Nidhi. Ashutosh asks Nidhi but she is not sure. Nidhi refuses to go for dinner after talking to Anji. Ashutsoh is sad. But is happy later as Nidhi agrees after Rohan convinces her. Mallika cooks Baghaare Baigan in tomato curry for Ashutosh and pasta for Nidhi in a way to put across that they belong to different age groups. Nidhi is uncomfortable at Mallika's place . At dinner, as per Mallika's plan she serves Ashutosh the vegetable and Nidhi the pasta. Mallika rubs it in that with their such different tastes in food, how are they going to reconcile. Nidhi answers Mallika's barbs but is disappointed when she finds out that Ashutosh had agreed to cancel AshNi picnic for Mallika and then Mallikas gift of Classical CD to Ashu! Nidhi is upset and feels that she doesnt know Ashu as much as Mallika and decides to take an interest in Ashu's likings..! She enrolls herself in a Classical Music class to learn Violin but eventually realises that she is not cut out for it! Ashu is impressed seeing her effort and praises her!
: Ageing Effects :
As AshNi go for a lunch date, Nidhi realises that Ashutosh has an eye sight issue as he is reading the menu card with an extra distance and still can't read properly. Ashutosh faces the same problem in the hospital while reading reports. Nidhi asks Armaan to convince Ashutosh to wear spectacles. Ashutosh tells Armaan that he is avoiding spectacles as he would look even older with Nidhi. Finally, Ashu agrees to get spectacles! Mallika is surprised to see Ashu relent to Nidhi regarding spectacles and decides to create trouble between AshNi and suggests Nidhi about how men are conscious about their look --- spectacles/ white hair etc! Nidhi ends up observing few specs of white hair on Ashu's sideburns and gifts him a Hair-Dye!
Ashutosh loses his temper.He tells her to stop trespassing on his choices. Nidhi is also upset. Rohan-Armaan decide to do something to patch up AshNi and set them up for a blind date at a Restaurant! AshNi confess to missing each other and patch up!
In the meantime, Dadi Bua calls Rohans parents to go forward with Nihan relation.Anjie misunderstands Ranga again when she sees him sharing his flat with a beautiful model-Sonia! Rohan-Nidhi decide to help Ranga!
: Valentines Day :
Nidhi tells Ashu that she has lots of plans for celebrating her first Valentines Day with her Valentine aka Ashu but is disappointed when Ashu tells her that he doesnt believe in celebrating V-day! On V-day, Rohan-Nidhi bring Anjie to a location to celebrate V-day and Ranga is also there with Sonia! RanJi misunderstandings are cleared and RanJi head off to celebrate their V-day! Nidhi gets a call from Ashu who picks her up and brings her to a special V-day party! But Nidhi has a better idea and takes Ashu to a place called 'Shehzadi Seluba ki Baradari'! There she tells him the tragic story of Shehzadi and AshNi light up a KANDEEL together and seek blessings for their love! Ashu gifts Nidhi a beautiful pendant-necklace! The duo along with Rohan come to Nidhis house and there Nidhi discreetly calls Ashu to her room and asks him to put the necklace on her! Ashu does and AshNi share a beautiful and romantic moment! Thereafter the duo serve tea and refreshments to Nidhis family much to the surprise of Nidhis Baba!
Mandira comes unannoucned and DB loses her temper and insults her! She even drags Ashu in the discussion and seeks his views on the legitimacy of what Mandira did! Ashu looks at Nidhi and tells DB firmly that Mandy has the right to love whomsoever she wants! Nidhi is taken aback but is super impressed!
