Commisioner tells CC that Engineer Saxena is building a bridge and asks CC to take care of it. Sarpanch and Chela tell CC about the Baghiche ka Bhoot which will prevent construction. CC says that Gopi & GG will protect Engineer and asks Engineer to get the work done in the nights rather than during the day. GG & Gopi get 1 jhumka each (ear-rings) from a tantrik to protect them from the bhoot (ghost). Jhumkas do not protect them against the ghost and they, along with Engineer and workers run away from the ghost. CC guesses that 4242 is important and chases a truck with that license plate at a police checkpoint. Truck disappears near Garden. CC enters Garden.
Main Episode:
CC is walking around cautiously in the Garden, gun in hand. Somebody touches her from behind. Surprise! It's Bajrang Pandey! CC is upset at BP for sneaking up on her and taking her by surprise. BP explains to CC that Commisioner asked him to do more in solving cases. And therefore he's there. CC welcomes his participation. CC explains that she's there chasing a truck that disappeared.
Next day, at chowki, CC is upset at GG and Gopi for having run away from the bhoot. Engineer is too scared by his experience with the ghost and goes away from the chowki as he doesn't want to build a bridge anymore. But CC wants to get to the bottom of this. GG and Gopi try to dissuade her. But CC has gotten new information that some illegal stuff is going down at the village. And CC has an idea of her own.
The quartet (CC, BP, GG and Gopi) have a meet with Villagers, Sarpanch (Village Headman) and chela (disciple) around a tempo (small delivery truck) stopped in the middle of the road. The license plate has the 4242 number. BP tells the villagers that they have stopped this truck as it was involved in illegal activity. They have gotten the driver of the truck to confess who his partners are. At this, Sarpanch and chela try to run away but are quickly caught by the quartet. BP & GG clarify to the Sarpanch that actually this was all a ruse - actually the truck had escaped so they used another truck and faked the license plates on the truck. Sarpanch and chela confess. When CC asks about who's their partner who is playacting as the ghost, they say that the ghost is real and is not their partner at all. CC gets them arrested and says that the police will need to make sure that the ghost is caught.
Since they must face the ghost again at night, GG and Gopi promptly go back
to the tantrik. Gopi is surprised that GG still has faith in the tantrik. But GG is thinking ahead. His plan is to take the tantrik with them! After some funny back and forth with the tantrik, tantrik agrees. He himself is very surprised that none of his tricks have worked on the bhoot.
At night, BP, GG, Gopi, Engineer and tantrik are back at the Baghicha (Garden). As they cautiously make their way around the garden, tantrik shows them a gende ka phool (resembles marigold/dahlias flowers). He says that it is special and that they can toss it at the ghost since with it's magical qualities the flowers will incinerate the ghost as soon as the flowers touch the ghost. He lines everybody up and starts to give them the flowers one by one. First gives it to Gopi, then to BP, then to GG and then to the ghost! That's right!! The ghost is right next to them. The flowers don't hurt him at all. Tantrik is panic stricken at seeing the ghost face to face (the expressions were too funny!! LOL). They run away from the ghost.
They meet CC going the other way, ax in hand. CC scoffs at them when they tell her about the ghost. She goes to a tree, loudly proclaims her intention to cut it down and raises her ax. The ghost's voice tries to stop her. She refuses and says that the ghost will need to come in person to get her to stop. The ghost appears and moves zombie-like towards her.
But CC is not scared. Instead she attacks the ghost. Turns out he's a human after all. He had been the maali (gardener) at the garden but several years back, he had an altercation with the villagers who wanted to cut his beloved trees down. The villagers thought he had drowned in a river but he hadn't died. However since that time, he decided to haunt the garden as a ghost so that he could protect the garden. CC praises his efforts to take care of the trees and gardens and says that she herself will request for the bridge to not destroy the garden but take a detour around the garden. (Which politician can dare say no to Chandramukhi Chautala?! No one!).
CC explains that she knew that there was no ghost, cos she had seen an idol of
Hanuman which had flower-offerings within the garden. And she knew that it must be a god-fearing human being (rather than some evil spirit) that was playacting as the ghost. CC tells the gardener to not haunt the villagers. Gardener agrees and he ends the episode on a rousing note - "Agar rahegi hariyali toh aayegi desh men khush-haali" (If there is greenery, then the nation will see prosperity).
