Scene cuts to Sudha and Ramya doing homework, while Meenu watches over them. Saro calls Sudha and inquires about them only. Meenu asks her sisters if Saro asked about her, they both reply no. Meenu is more sad and upset now 😕 (what exactly happened?). She takes out her anger on her sisters by telling them not to refer to Saro as "Athaan" anymore and to mind their own business. Both sisters simply pick up their stuff and move away. Then Meenu's dad comes in. He advises Meenu to concentrate on her studies, seeing as they were really important to her. Meenu asks her dad if he is angry with her. He says no, and that he will always support her. Meenu says, "I still don't think my decision was wrong". Her dad tells her that this type of stubbornness is both a woman's greatest strength and greatest weakness 👏. He also advises that life is literally a trial and error and that in order for one to accumulate experience, one must also give something equal in return 👏👏👏. Meenu worries that even her Paati won't talk to her and that Saro has become more important to Paati then her. Her dad says, "Don't worry about and I'll take care of it" and then leaves. Meenu picks up one of her books to skim through and out fell Saro's photo. She holds the photo as tears come out of her eyes 😭😭😭.   

Saro is all sad and playing sad love songs. In comes Yamini , inquiring what happened to him. Yamini says Shaw told her everything and asks him why he split with Meenu. Saro angrily denies everything before breaking down. Yamini starts advising Saro; that too much of good is also bad 😕. Yamini advises him about how girls think, before slowly making hints about her desire to marry Saro . Saro immediately wants to talk to Meenu 😆, but Yamini stops him 😡. Eventually she promises him a treat and plays a happy song. Scene shifts to the lunchroom. Shaw makes fun of Saro's eating habits to Yamini, implying that no matter how sad Saro is Saro will eat. He is proven right, as Saro's eats Shaw's lunch after Shaw offers it to him due to sympathy 😲😆😲. He also finishes off Yamini's lunch as well, much too her surprise and lets out a burp (ada paavi, first slap and now lunch aa?). Shaw gives him water, before finally getting Saro to tell them what happened when he talked to Meenu 😕.

Flashback: Meenu asks Saro what he wants to talk to her about. Saro says I'm leaving. Meenu says okay, have a safe journey back home. Saro says is that all and Meenu asks what else is there to talk about? Saro says you shouldn't be this stubborn Meenakshi. Meenu replies, saying that her self-confidence looks like that to him. She continues saying that the Saro she loved and the one before her are different 😲. That Saro would do everything for her and be kind to her. Saro says fine, study but I'm not saying this wholeheartedly and I'm leaving . Meenu repeats that she does not want her studies as some sort of charity and that she doesn't want it . Meenu says I'll marry you to satisfy your ego. Saro says go ahead and then you can hold this against me for the rest of my life. Meenu says this is enough; let's separate seeing as there is no more love between us 😡. Saro asks her why she is always negative. Meenu tells him to think it over; their decisions are affecting both of them and that separating is the best way to go😭😲😭. Saro calls Meenu cold hearted and to think of her father. Meenu replies, saying that they both can't struggle for the rest of their life. Saro asks her final decision. Meenu says lets part as friends. Saro points out everything he does for her and tells her he hates her 😲😭😲 & leaves angrily. Meenu just cries . Elsewhere, Saro is also upset .

Saro's dad starts telling Yamini bad things about Saro 😆.
Saro's mom welcomes Yamini in to their house by using an aarthi 🤢.
Saro's dad thinks that "Sani is saa doo goo doo dancing in Saro's life" as his wife welcomes Yamini 🤣.       

Scene begins with Saro crying over Achi's passing. His dad too is sad. His daad then goes on to talk about how Saro never knew his grandparents and that he thought Achi would be one for him. He further goes on to explain that a grandparent only has love for their grandchildren, without any expectations. Both father and son mourn Achi. Meenu's father comes out and asks Saro to do him a favour...light Achi's funeral pyre. Saro and his dad are all shocked. Saro's father says that the honour should go to him [Meenu's dad] or Tamil. Meenu's dad replies that this was Achi's last wish and that even though they didn't fulfill her wishes when she was alive, they should at least fulfill it now that she is dead. Saro accepts, albeit very VERY sadly. Saro then participates in all the traditions. A sad song is playing in the background, while flashbacks of Saro and Achi are intermittently shown in black and white. Saro lights the pyre. Tamil and his dad are crying.

After the all the rites are finished, Tamil is smoking by a tree. Saro passes by. As usual there is a confrontation between the two. Tamil upset that Saro..."an outsider" became more important to Achi then her eldest grandson. He further states that everything bad happened in his house due to Saro. Saro asks him why he is talking like that. Tamil is not buying it. He calls Saro an actor and is very mad at him. Saro apologizes to Tamil, but it only infuriates Tamil further. Tamil nearly hits Saro but Saro doesn't respond. Saro responds by saying that though you may be angry I won't react the same way. He even invites Tamil to hit him but then to think clearly and leaves. He then asks Sudha where Meenu is.

Meenu is in her room crying. Saro tells her that
