Karanjkar House
It is night time and there is a knock on the door .Purvi opens the door .It is Archana .Archu is looking very sad, tired and totally exhausted and worned out . A worried Purvi is glad to see her and tells her that something is wrong with Tej as she is not talking to anyone .
Teju is sitting with a sad crying face and Sulochna and Purvi are sitting with her , worried about her .Archana goes to her and asks about her .
Tej puts her head on her laps and starts crying that her father does not loves her any more .
Tej tells everyone about what happened .
Purvi tells Teju that even she had lied to her father so her father is right in being angry .
Tej tells her that she cannot believe that her father has lied to her , his mother and her sister .All her life , their father taught them to hate their mother and today he himself is living with her .She says that this woman never once checked on them , came to see them , left them years ago , never phoned .
She tells Purvi that this woman is a very greedy woman and she only loves money and she cannot believe that her father cam share the same roof with someone like her..
Archana is looking grief stricken on hearing all this .Even Sulochna looks on worried .
Teju says that how can her father keep relations with a woman who only loves money and nothing else , that her father does not care about her or her sister ...all he cares about is this woman .She says that her father has never cared about her .
Sulochna tells Tej to be strong and not to give up .she says that it is her private matter but as she thinks of her as her own she will advise her to tackle the situation like a strong girl and everything will be allright .She tells Purvi to take Tej inside ..
Purvi lovingly takes tej inside and tucks her in bed . She puts the lights off and herself also goes to sleep after checking on Tej many times ..
Archu is too depressed and looking weak to even talk . Sulochna is happy to see the love and care between Tej and Purvi .
She tells Archana that she feels sorry for the woman who could make a girl as lovely as tej hate her so much .How could this woman give so much sorrow to a girl like Tej .
Archana cannot take this any more and she breaks down crying .
She tells Sulochna the girl's full name ' Tejaswini Manav Deshmukh " , my daughter.
Sulochna is so happy to know that Teju is her granddaughter , she wants to go and wake up Teju but Archana stops her and begs her not to tell Tej anything .This has to remain between her , manav and Sulochna .Sulochna asks Archana why she is doing this , why is she making such senseless sacrifices that are keeping a mother away from her child ...she is also crying now .'
Archu says that she desperately wants tej uto call her ' Aie' but it is obvious that Teju hates her mother like anything and if she is to know that she is her mother then Teju will react very strongly and will hate her ..
Archu says that she will not be able to take her daughter's hate ..For now at least she is happy that Teju thinks of her as her Aunt .If Teju finds this out then God knows how she will react and where she will go ..At least for now Teju has someone she can share her problems with ...She makes Sulochna swear that she will not tel lanything to Teju or Purvi .
Deshmukh House
Manav is getting ready to go out .He tells Sachin that Teju is in India and is driving a taxi and he is going to stop her from doing this .Her father is a businessman, brother is a lawyer and her sister is a model so how can she think of driving a taxi ...
Archana comes in the room and starts talking to Manav .
Archana : Have you ever tried to find out why your daughter is doing this , wh yshe wanted to come to India /
She had 5 lakh ruppees with her when she came to India but she decided to live in the Chawl instead of a hotel .I also wanted to know how come this girl knows so much abouta Chawl .It was Aie who used to tell her everything ...all the stories about living in a Chawl and teju wanted to see all this herself .She was scared that yo uwould never let her come and that is why she lied to you.
You guys told her stories , made her think about India and living in the Chawl , but stopped her from seeing it so she came herself .
She lost her money and her passport but sheis your daughter manav so she has a lot of self respect , instead of taking money from someone else , she decided to work and drive taxi only so that she can take care of her expenses .Once she gets her passport back she will stop driving taxi and go back to Canada .
How can yo usay that taxi driving is a small work , you say that I have changed ...have you not changed that yo uhave forgotten that yo uused to be a car mechanic once ...
Then she brings Teju's first income and gives it to manav .She says that he has more right on this money as Teju is his daughter ...and she only gave her this because her father was not there .
Manav is so happy to see the money that he starts crying ...
He thanks Archana and is very emotional, shows the money to Sachin ..
Starts crying that this is his daughter's first income and he will always keep this with him and he hugs Sachin .
Archana seeing them share this emotional moment quietly walks away to leave them alone .
The Company work floor ..
Arjun comes to work in his company . Vinay is also coming from behind , Arjun turns and smiles . Vinay thinks that he is smiling at him but Arjun is smiling at Purvi who is also standing there .he goes to Purvi , welcomes her back to work and tells her that his company needs efficient and good workers like her and he has some wok for her right now so if she can please come to his office .
Purvi smiles and goes to her work station ,ignoring Vinay completely .
Vinay goes to her and says that after what has heppened between them , it is difficult for them to work together so he will try and change his department .
Purvi tells him strictly that her rishta breaking has nothing to do with her work and she will work just like she used to before so whatever he has to do , he should do it for himself and not for her .
Karanjkar House
Sulochna is trying to cheer up Teju and talking to her about Gajar Ka halwa and that she wil lmake it for her every day .Teju says that she want to thank God for letting her meet such nice people or else she would have been all lost in a city like Mumbai .
Sulochna gets worried to see a cut mark on her hand and tell her to be careful while driving the taxi ...
She is about to say that you are careless just like your mother , but she stops herself and says that yo u are just like Archana aunty who is always running after others and everyday her tea gets cold only because of this .
Teju smiles and says that Archana is so lovely and she wish that her mother was also like her .
An emotional Sulochna strokes Teju and thinks that Archana is her mother and is dying to hear the word' mother ' from Teju ...

Arjun is going towards Purvi to tell her something when he hears Purvi and Vinay talking .Purvi is giving back Vinay the earings that he had gifted her and says that she does not wish to keep any gifts given by him...
When Vinay goes, Purvi starts crying . A worried Arjun looks on ..
