Written Update: 5th April

Hey Toppers, I know this is really late but still I've managed to put up the last epi written update.

Suvreen is devastated when her father tells her that since now she is in DPSC, they cannot live in a small town anymore and they soon would be moving to Delhi. Suvreen tries to tell him that she could not get in but instead hangs up. She then prays to God and asks him why did he 'chopsuey' ed her out of all the people. She then asks him to open a door or send someone who might be able to help her and share her pain. She bursts out again. Just then she is given a hanky to wipe her face. She looks up and sees a 'chasmish' named Naro, another DPSC aspirant who could not get in due to the high cut-off. They both share each other's pain, during which she learns that if Naro does not get into DPSC, she would have to go back home and work at the tea plantation, and she hates tea but only drinks coffee.😆

Suvreen tells Naro that there is a phrase that if all doors are closed then one door opens. Distressed Naro asks Suvreen the source but since Suvreen cannot tell her the source, Naro concludes that then it has to be a rumour. Then Naro gives Suvreen an idea...there is a bhai name Yuvraj who halps everyone in admission. Suvreen, excited, tells her that they should go and look for this bhai.

In the common room, Yuvi is in the middle of a carom match against a guy. Yuvi's buddies try and distract the opponent but without success. Nevertheless, Yuvi was winning amazingly. Everyone was cheering for him, while Suvreen and Naro look for him impatiently. When the two were close to the common room, they hear a loud cheer from inside the common room and decide to check it out. Accidentally, Suvreen pushed Yuvi and makes him loose the game which drives him nuts. Suvreen tells him that she has come to meet the "Great Yuvraj Bhai" and not an "Altu Faltu" person like him. Suvreen asks everyone where can she meet Yuvraj Bhai...the others point at Yuvi and she is shocked to death.😃

Outside, Yuvi disagrees to help Suvreen and Naro but Suvreen apologizes for her harsh behavior. Suvreen tells Yuvi that he has to help them because then Yuvi will be known as a behen and not a bhai. Yuvi, irritated, tells her not to call him bhai. Just then, Yuvi's buddies come out and call him bhai that angers Yuvi. They then see Suvreen and understand that Yuvi does not want to be called a bhai infront of Suvreen,atleast.😳 Yuvi says that he wants to help but can't because of the high cut-off. He then asks whether they have a special talent that can work for quota. Suvreen says that she can dance as she has done that a lot of times at her friends' birthdays and she can play the flute, she gives him a demo, and she can also juggle. Naro says that she can drink 12 cups of coffees at a time. Suvreen says she can also raise her brows and gives him a killing demo...🤪

Yuvi says that these won't work and tells them to leave the college and return to her town where she belongs. But Suvreen is determined. Yuvi asks for money in return but Suvreen tells him that its against her laws. But when she realizes that its the only way she agrres to pay and gives him 500 rupees and tells him to "Keep the Change". A disgusted Yuvi says that the minimum he would be accepting is 1 lakh. Suvreen shocked asks him whether he knows how many zero's are there in a lakh. He tells Suvreen that he knows that Suvreen has never seen 1 lakh in her entire life and so it seems like a dream. Yuvi challenges Suvreen that she won't get admission to the college. Suvreen says that she will, by hook or by crook. Yuvi tells her that if she does, he will change his name.

Naro is shattered and asks Suvreen what the next move will be. Suvreen takes her to the beverage counter and orders tea for her and coffee for Naro, as she needs an energy booster. At the beverage counter, Suvreen catches up with Annie who tells her that the latter's father is trying to contact some high officials and has also advised to audition for the cultural quota. Suvreen tells Annie that she is really lucky. A small boy comes to the beverage counter and tells the owner to turn on the radio. The angry owner shoos him off saying that he owns a beverage counter and not a radio station. Suvreen sees the incident and feels sorry for the little boy. He calls him and asks him whether he would like to listen to her. Suvreen asks Annie for her guitar and then she starts singing a song related to the exam cut-off that attracts everyone including the principal, another teacher and the media. The Principal looks out of her window and snarls.😔

Just then the media comes and questions Suvreen whether she is protesting against the admission pattern and the College Board. A confused Suvreen tells them that she was just trying to entertain the little boy. But the media pressurizes her and asks her whether she would lead the group of students into a hunger strike to get what they wanted. Suvreen looks up and sees the angry principal and concludes that she will, since hunger stikes have worked for icons like Mahatma Gandhi and Anna Hazare. So, Suvreen, Annie, Naro and a whole bunch of students declare a hunger strike that astonishes the principal and the other teacher.

PRECAP: Suvreen and all the other students are protesting furiously. Just then the principal comes and stands infront of Suvreen. Suvreen becomes nervous but still stands strong. The principal then gives Suvreen a paper.

MY VIEW: The episode was really funny if not dramatic. YuviReen+Naro moments were light, fun and heart warming. The lyrics of the song worked really well given the circumstances. Just wish there was an YuvReen eye to eye moment.
