KD spots a small piece of paper getting stuck on his pen. He concludes that the murders are committed using magnets. Next day in the court, he calls Amzad in the witness box and asks didn't he get trained for weight lifting and related? Amzad tells him he never got. Three dumbles of different weights are brought in the court. KD tells Amzad to pick up the 10 kg of weight first. Amzad tries but fails. Next he fails to pick up half of the first one i.e. 5 kg even. The prosecutor tries but he too fails. KD then tells Amzad to lift the weight of 3 kg and he fails this time even. At last, KD places a fork of weight around 25 grams and Amzad fails to pick up that weight even.
KD shows an electromagnet to everybody that was placed below the table. He reveals that it's very powerful and the reason behind failure in picking up the weights. It's the weapon used to kill. KD then reveals that Amzad was an engineering student and he only made this electromagnet. Amzad accepts he killed three people through this electromagnetic technique.
When Chauhatiya spoke he'll file a case, he got afraid and demanded his money back from Shetty but he never agreed. So he had to kill him. Since his spa was just below his gym, he fixed the magnet on the roof and it applied pressure on the weight due to attraction. So pressure got exerted on Shetty's neck and he died. He gave some money to Ashley to write the letter and Kim saw them talking. So he had to kill her fixing his magnet outside her door. He did the same with Ashley.
The judge gives his final decision and Amzad is to be hanged till death. Santosh is set free, he thanks KD.
The prosecutor shares a moment with KD and tells him he wouldn't have been able to defeat him if he had got that electromagnet before him. The prosecutor wishes himself better luck next time and leaves. Edited by -Shruti - 12 years ago
