Hi all,
Am a little hard pressed for time today, so will be doing a brief update.. Summarizing the episode - the moral of today was Sweetyji is always right :P
Sweety and Lucky are up in their room, and Lucky finally opens the gift that sweety gave him. Its a box filled with a little things - that Sweety explains the significance of - basically another bunch of morals. Lucky again tells Sweety that he is very lucky to have her in his life. Sweety tells Lucky that she wants to return the car immediately. Luckyji agrees.
Cops come to the house and the inspector makes note of the super expensive car standing in front of the house. Sweety and Lucky open the door - to go and return Monty's car, and are shocked to see cops standing on the other side. The inspector comes in and very sarcastically starts passing comments on the size of their house, the car standing outside. Sweety hurriedly explains that Lucky is a realtor and whatever he has earned is all legal, he hasn't cut any corners - basically Lucky is a very honest person.
The inspector asks them about Monty and tells them that Monty is now being questioned for a 100 Cr scam that he apparently plotted. Sweety and Lucky are shocked. Sweety and Lucky try to convince the inspector that they have no idea about this. Rocky who is also there is shocked. The inspector tells them that they have a search warrant and will search the entire house for evidence of corruption. Sweety tells them to wait while she lets Papaji and Ginny know about what is going on. Sweety and Rocky go to inform Papaji and Ginny and obviously both are shocked. Ginny is extremely upset. The police search everywhere but they cant find anything. The inspector sarcastically asks Rocky that he must be having some expensive gadgets - ipad, ipod smart phone.. Rocky says that they dont have any such thing, because their parents dont approve. The police takes Lucky to the station for questioning, and Sweety reassures lucky that no matter who says what, she and their children will always believe him. Their family is with him. The cops take Lucky and go.
Ginny is very upset and runs to the puja room, and starts praying. The whole family prays for Lucky's safety. The kids, Sweety and Papaji reassure each other that nothing will happen to Luckyji.
Rocky and Sweety go to meet Kakkar at dawn, and Kakkar tells them that he cant do anything, Lucky signed the papers as guarantor, and the police would have gotten hold of that file. He understands that Lucky is not the sort of person to do something like this, but he cannot do anything about it now. Sweety and Rocky leave the house dejected. Rocky asks Sweety what she is going to do next - Sweety very idealistically tells him that the truth will always prevail. Rocky asks her to be practical - its each for his own in today's world, truth be damned.. Sweety tells him that as a parent it is her duty to tell him that truth always wins, so she will try to always go this way, if it doesn't work, then she will think about practicality.
