RAI DANCE

Watching the promos, I tried getting info on Bedia tribe over the net could not...and as I found Narayani Shastri's dance all quite filmy with those circles and yards length of skirt material, I wondered what that dance was about. Checked on you tube and indeed found the RAI folk dance. Amazing closeness. Well atleast for that I will applaud them. I am posting this just as discussion on knowledge sharing  basis and not doing any propaganda.

hmmm interesting - it is no so bad as how it is portrayed in the show - it is like a type of dance.

Maybe they should perform Rai in Dance India Dance next season, then it will become a respectable art form --- its already very beautiful and requires skill, grace, flexibility and strength. Then maybe real people like Sugni can try out and make it to top 18.
