Ok guys!!
My first attempt!!
Wrote this when the actual episode took place but did not get the time to post it!!
Toh ab kar rahi hu!!
Hope u like it & critisms always welcome!!
One more thing,
The last part is dedicated to mum coz its an expression of her feelings!!
So here it goes!!
RaYa come out of dadis room and walk silently towards theirs, processing in their minds what dadi said about wanting a parpota, their confessions to each other & some special moments spent with each other..
Finally they reach their room and ram breaks the silence..
Ram: yaar, ye dadi b na... Hamesha emotional blackmail karti hai.. Ab hum kya kare?
Priya: (still lost in thoughts) muje toh kuch samaj nahi aa raha hai.. Aap sochiye...
Ram: arre! Aap sochiye matlab?.. Hmm. Ruko vikram ko call karta hu..
Ram dials vikrams number...
Priya: aap vikram se kya puchenge?
Ram: are 3-3 bacche hai uske. Baccho k mamle me usse hi zyada pata hoga na?
Priya: puchke b kya? Wo b hume dadi kitarah baccha karne ko kahenge..
Ram: par baat toh karne do..
Priye: ha toh kijiye phir. Muje kya?
Ram: accha baba. Tum nai chahti toh mai nai karta baat. Mai hi kuch sochta hu..
Priya: muje b class ka kuch kaam hai. Mai wo finish kar deti hu..
ram dosent realise that he has dialled vikrams number and not disconncted the call yet. Vikram has heard the conversation between RaYa. He rings neha and tells her all he heard. Neha tells him that she is going to invite RaYa over for dinner and asks vikram to come back early from office! Vikram agrees and Neha dials priya's number.
Neha: hi priya
Ram has receieved the call instead.
Ram: hi neha.
Neha: huh? Ye tumare awaz ko kya hua hai? Fatty k jaise kyu lag rahi hai?
Ram: are mai ram hi hu..
Naha acts surprised and giggles at the other end.
Neha: tum? Is waqt gharpe? Office me kaam nai hai kya?
Ram: arre yaar, ab mere gharpe aane k liye b muje permission leni padegi kya? Wise tune call kyu kia tha? Wo priya actually study me gai hai buks lene k liye.
Neha: actually mai aur vikram soch rahe the aaj raat saath me dinner karte hai hamare ghar pe.. Boht din ho gaye chaaro baithe hue.. Thodi gupshup b ho jayegi.. What say?
Ram: ruko priya aa rhi hai.. Puchke bolta hu..
Neha: biwi ki permission tum kabse lene lage?
By then, priya enters with her books.
Ram: priya, neha ka call hai. Dinner pe invite kar rahi hai. Jana chahti ho?
Priya nods in approval and ram conveys it to neha.
AT SHERGILL HOUSE
As soon as RaYa reach, the kids come running to Priya and pull her away to theri room. Ram's eyes follow priya till she gets into the room and then he turns towards ViHa.
Ram: yaar vikram, pehle ye bacche mere saath rehte the. Ab toh inhe bas priya hi chaiye!
Neha: wo kya hai na fatty,priya ke aane se teri value thodi kam si ho gayi hai.. Nai vikram..
the 3 of them then sit down to chat, Ram glancing from time to time, to see if priya is coming... ViHa notice this and ask ram to get priya for dinner. Ram, who was controlling himself so long so that ViHa do not tease him, grabbed the opportunity and rushed towards the kids room. ViHa couldnt help but smile behind him
Ram opened the door of the kids room and there he saw his PRINCESS sitting in the middle and the 3 kids cuddled around her, sleeping, and priya caressing their hair and patting them.
Priya looks up to see ram and remembers what he told her about being a father on the cruise in australia.. Ram, meanwhile, is still thinking about dadi's words to them that morning..
ViHa come up from behind to see whats taking them so long. They smile looking at each other..
Neha: Vikram, mai soch rahi thi k jab in dono k bacche honge toh Priya kitni acchi mom banegi na?
Ram turns towards neha & gives her a blank look, realises what she said, quickly turns around and walks away blushing, followed by a smiling vikram.. Neha helps priya settle the kids and they both go towards the dining area. Ita a nice square table mant for 4. Ram and vikram are already seated next to each other.. Priya was about to sit besides Ram when Neha rushed ahead and occupied the seat. Priya went to sit beside Neha.
RaYa looked at each other sadly and Ram gave Neha a angry look while she was grinning mischeviously...
Neha: arre fatty, priya saamne baithegi toh usse aur acche se dekh paoge na??
Priya turned red hearing this and a smile turnd up on Ram's face... They then begin with dinner and ave fun talking about RaYa's last visit to their house, how priya got drunk and called Ram "Tablet Kapoor"... After dinner, Neha gets the desserts when vikram starts talking..
Vikram: Ram, ek baat bolu? Aaj jab tune muje call kia tha na dopahar ko, tu call cut karne bhool gya tha and i heard your conversation about dadi's wish... And while u were talking, i felt u guys were apprehensive about it.. Isiliye aaj hum dono ne dinner plan kia.. We dint start the topic earlier because we wanted u to enjoy the dinner..
Ram and priya looked at each other embarassed...
Priya: Rehne do na Neha.. Waise b boht der ho gyi hai. Hume nikalna chaiye "RAM"... All of them(except Priya of course!!) looked shocked for a sec..
Of course, the word RAM gripped everyones attention... Priya realised what she blurted out and looked down, shy... Ram grinning from ear to ear..
Vikram: look guys.. We know that this is supposed to be your decision.. But we just thought we will share our experience.. Pata hai., when we married, we never thought about kids.. We were happy among ourselves.. But then we came to know one daythat Neha was carrying and a little angel was going to come into our life..Yaad hai Ram, saara kaam chhod kar aa gaya tha mai Neha k paas... Ram nodded..
Neha: sach bolu, toh these kids have brought us closer, built in more trust among us... Seriously priya, motherhood is a feeling worth experiencing... Having an angel inside u, a symbol of your love, depending on you, to live, to survive, to see the world... Wo 9 mahine usse apne saath rakhna, to see it grow by the day, feel it moving inside u.. Ek nanhi si jaan...
Vikram: pata hai mere liye sabse khushi ki baat tab hoti thi jab hum sonography k liye jate the.. Jab apne bacche ko monitor pe dekhte hai na, dil bhar aata hai.. Mann karta hai usse hi dekhta rahu...
Neha: and jab wo baccha pehli baar laat marta hai na.. Pata hai kitni khushi hoti hai... And the pain u go through nurturing it for 9 months, its all very overwhelming...
Vikram: pata hai, jab maine ritz ko pehli baar apne haathon me liya na, tab muje ehsaas hua, ke ab tak jo mai kar raha tha wo kuch nai hai.. Ab aga muje apne bacche k liye sab karna hai... Its a mch deeper feeling than what u feel for all other family and friends.. Saari duniya ek taraf aur mera baccha ek taraf...
Neha: aur jab wo baccha pehli baar tumhe mumma papa kehta hai na, aisa lagta hai jaise yehi sun ne k liye humara janm hua.. Jab wo nanhi si jaan pehli baar chalta hai tumhara haat thaam kar, lagta hai u r on top of the world..
Vikram: Jab hum apne hisse ki khushi kurbaan karte hai unke liye, aur unke chehre pe hasi aa jati hai, tab saara thaaan mit jata hai..
Neha: raat ko unke sote hue masoom shakaldekh lo na, khaas kar tab jab unhe daant diya ho, toh unpe boht pyar ata hai... All in all, parenthood is an important phase in everyones life...
Ram and priya are lost deep in thoughts...
Neha: Hellooo?? So gye kya??? Fatty?? Priya??
Ram: Nahi neha... Anyways, ab hume nikalna chaiye... Chale Priya?
Priya: Ji... Thanks for the dinner.. Bye..
Ram and Priya silently get into their car and look into each others eyes..Ram takes priya's right hand, places it over the gear, places his own left hand over hers and they drive off to Kapoor Mansion...
