Just trying to explain some yogic aspects of Sati's realising Aadya Shakti roop.
There are 7 chakras in a human body. with additional 5 spiritual chakra, which appears above the 7th chakra in case of a well developed spiritual person.
From 6th chakra onwards the yogi starts developing his powers. First 5 chakras are of 5 elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Aakash. When he moves above these 5 elements he developes some special qualities. Such as,
6. Agya Chakra is situated in the position of the 3rd eye, developes intuition & sense of vision is centre of wisdom is Indigo in colour.
7. Sahastrara chakra is located at the top of the head, is associated with connecting to the Universal energy is a thousand petal Lotus. Traditionally one's connection to the divine (Atmic level of divinity), contains programs to be used by 8th chakra including the release of basic psychic skills - Telepathy, seeing Aura, Lucid Dreaming, Out of Body Travel, Healing
8: Energy center of divine love, of spiritual compassion and spiritual selflessness, one's karmic residue, activates spiritual skills contained in the seventh chakra.
9: Soul blueprint - The individual's total skills and abilities, learned in all the life times
10: Divine creativity, synchronicity of life; the merging of the masculine and feminine within, unlocking of skills contained in the ninth chakra.
11: Pathwork to the Soul, the individual's ability to acquire advanced spiritual skills. Travel beyond the limits of Time and Space, Teleportation, Bi-location, Instantaneous precipitation of thoughts, Telekinesis in some cases
12: Connection to the Monadic level of divinity, advanced spiritual skills, ascension, connection to the cosmos and beyond.

Sati's Kundalini was awakened by Shivji through Shaktipaat, which is nothing but transmission of abundant Universal energy from a true Guru to his shishya.
When Sati whose kundalini was awakened sat on the Siddha aasan of Shivji with intention of meditation. All her chakras got activated, she could move to Patal-loka through Teleporting, 11th chakra.
The soul's blue print- an individual's total skills learned during all the life time is in 9th Chakra. Sati is not a normal human soul. All her powers which were not awakened till now got activated. Shivji's condition & Vidyunmali's arrogance provided an outlet for her inner powers to come out, resulting in her appearance as an "Aadya shakti"
