Weekly Summary

11th June 2012

Aarti starts the day by performing puja and singing the same bhajan that Arpita used to sing. In the previous episode, Vidhi had convinced Aarti to assume Arpita's persona in order to win over the children and Yash.

Gayatri fears that Yash would get furious as Aarti had reminded him of Arpita by singing the bhajan. Vidhi too fears that Yash would get furious and prays to God to help Aarti.

When Aarti offers prasad to Yash, he recollects the moment wherein Aprita used to offer him the prasad after the prayers. When Yash accepts the prasad, Aarti excitedly shares her happiness with Vidhi. After Yash leaves, Aarti thanks Vidhi for suggesting her to perform the prayers.

Aarti finds Palak upset after being reminded of Arpita. To cheer her up, Aarti suggests the children to play with Yash as it was a holiday.

The children approach Yash and request him to play catch and cook along with them. Yash refuses to play the game and states that their clothes would get dirty. At that time Aarti intervenes and tells Yash, not to worry about their clothes as they can wash them later. Yash recollects Arpita's words wherein she had asked him to not worry about clothes instead enjoy the play.

Yash, Aarti and the three children play with water in the garden. Gayatri gets happy when she sees Yash, Payal and Palak enjoying.

Paridi requests Pratik to convince Surajpratap to allow her to continue her job. She asks Pratik to seek Yash's help to convince Surajpratap.

After the game, Aarti comes to her room. She looks at Arpita's photograph and says to her that she had no intentions to make Payal and Palak forget her. All she wanted was to make her place in their heart.

Aarti hands over a towel to Yash when she hears him sneeze. Yash hands it back to Aarti when she too sneezes. Meanwhile, Vidhi arrives and offers tea to the couple.

Vidhi reminds Yash how he would often get a cold after playing with his daughters and Arpita in the water. Yash gets nostalgic recollecting the moments spent with Arpita.

12th June 2012

Vidhi praises Aarti for her efforts to win Yash, Palak and Payal's hearts. Aarti gets surprised on learning that Gayatri felt happy seeing her and Yash playing with the children in the garden.

When Aarti excitedly plans to bake a cake for the children, Vidhi suggests hosting a small party at home. When she comes to know that Palak's birthday was approaching, Aarti suggests holding a grand birthday party. She gets confused when Vidhi asserts that Aarti should not celebrate Palak's birthday.

When Aarti enquires with Palak about her birthday, Palak gets furious and behaves rudely with her. Palak states that everybody was allowed to celebrate their birthdays, except her. She refuses to talk to Aarti and asks her to leave.

To learn the reason behind not celebrating Palak's birthday, Aarti confronts Yash. Yash, however, refuses to reveal the truth.

Later Aarti enquires with Pratik about it. He narrates to Aarti the incident wherein Arpita meet with an accident and died on Palak's birthday. Arpita had stepped out to get Palak's birthday cake. Yash shows Aarti some letters, which Palak had written to Arpita after her death. At that time, Aarti recollects that Ansh too used to write letters to his father.

Aarti decides to help Palak to come out of the guilt that her mother died on her birthday. She resolves to organize a grand birthday party for Palak.

13th June 2012

Aarti reminds Yash about their intention of getting remarried. She reminds him that Surajpratap had given her three months to prove that she can be a good mother. She asks Yash to allow her to organize a birthday party for Palak. Aarti believes that by hosting a party, she would win Palak's heart.

Yash does not agree with Aarti's plan but she tries to convince him. Yash tells Aarti that he had never stopped Palak from celebrating her birthday. However, after Arpita's death, Palak refused to celebrate her birthday. Yash adds that he had no problem in organizing Palak's birthday party if she wanted to celebrate it.

Aarti plans to organize a grand birthday bash for Palak. She excitedly informs about her plan to Vidhi and Paridi. At that time Gayatri arrives and rages at Aarti. She tells Aarti not to organize the party as she fears that Palak may get depressed. Aarti convinces Gayatri by assuring her that Palak would enjoy the party.

Pratik helps Aarti in making the guest list. Aarti decides to call up Palak's friends personally to invite them for the bash.

Aarti is excited about hosting the party. She shares her excitement with Shobha. Aarti tells Shobha that she had planned to assume Arpita's persona to make a place in Palak and Payal's life.

Palak draws a family picture and tells Yash that she would send the drawing to Arpita on her birthday.

When Aarti tells Palak that she had decided to celebrate her birthday, Palak gets furious and refuses to celebrate it.

Palak gets upset and hugs Yash. Yash is about to console Palak but Aarti stops him. Aarti requests Yash to allow her to convince Palak.

14th June 2012

Aarti gets surprised when she learns that Maya was instigating Palak against her. She gets shocked when Palak tells Aarti that Maya had told her that her stepmother would beat her up.

Aarti pacifies Palak and assures to bring Arpita home on her birthday if Palak agreed to celebrate it. With the desire to meet Arpita, Palak agrees to celebrate her birthday. Aarti, however, requests Palak not to inform anybody about Arpita's visit to their house.

Yash, who is standing outside the room, gets surprised when he sees Palak happy. When Yash enquires, Palak refuses to reveal the truth as she had promised Aarti to keep it a secret. After Palak leaves, Yash enquires with Aarti but she too refuses to reveal.

Next morning, Gayatri gets furious when she sees her daughters-in-law sitting in the living room. On enquiring she learns that her daughters-in-law were planning Palak's birthday bash. Paridi asks Gayatri not to worry as they had done all the household chores. Gayatri is about to leave but Palak stops her and insists her to join them in making the arrangements.

Meanwhile, Shobha arrives at Scindia Mansion. Gayatri gets furious on learning that Vidhi had called Shobha to teach some recipes for children during the party. Gayatri tells Vidhi that she should have sought her help as she too knew to prepare various recipes for children.

Shobha handles the situation by stating that she had come to help Gayatri in the kitchen. Gayatri refuses to accept Shobha's help instead insults her by stating that they do not allow their guests to work in their kitchen.

Later, Shobha expresses her concern over Aarti's decision to assume Arpita's persona in Yash, Palak and Payal's life. Aarti tries to pacify Shobha and reasons out that in order to make Palak and Payal accept her as their mother, she needed to become Arpita's shadow.

After seeing Arpita's photo frames all over Yash's room, Shobha believes that Yash had neither forgotten Arpita nor would allow anybody to takeover her place in their life.

Scene of the Week
credit:Jyoti

This week the best scene is when Yash-Aarti along with all 3 kids decide to play around in the garden on a holiday . It was a pleasure to watch Yash-Aarti along with Ansh-Palak-Payal together having a gala time together in the garden .

Just then Ansh pulls out a very naughty trick of making her mommy all wet with the hosepipe  when Yash looks at Aarti and remembers his similar moment with Arpita but just then Aarti hides behind Yash and once again Yash's past is taken over by his charming present when Aarti falls in Yash's arms and Yash is all lost in Aarti's eyes  while Ansh continues to drench them in water using the hosepipe . πŸ˜³πŸ˜³...

Yash-Aarti all wet in each other's arms  was a pleasant sight to watch πŸ˜³...

This scene was follwed by an equally charming moment when both Yash-Aarti offers towel to each other and asks each other to dry their hair since both were together sneezing πŸ˜†πŸ˜³/..The "pehle aap " moment between both over the towel was one of the cutest AarYa scenes indicating their growing fondness for each other πŸ˜³πŸ˜³

Best Picture Of The Week

Dialogue of the Week
Credit:samanalyse

Female: Aarti

"Naach na jaane, aangan teda"
I thought this was very significant to the situation at hand, and not just the adorable Chinese Whisper game. Immediately after Aarti says this, Yash goes into flashback about Arpita and barely has he come out of his shell for Palak to play the game that he retreats angrily back in. We see this happy family situation with all of them playing a game together, enjoying little things and laughing together; who is the only one putting a damper on the celebratory mood? No, not Palak, Yash. This brings us back to the whole reasoning of Palak not celebrating her birthday of her own accord. She is the teda aangan to Yash's clueless naach. He himself does not want to let Arpita go on this day, he wants to mourn her and he wants to hold on to her. I am not saying he doesn't want Palak to be happy, but he can't seem to slap a smile on his face and grit his teeth for her, long enough to play a simple game when her happiness is so dependent on his own. His daughters are laughing, his family is happy and cheerful and all he can do is worry that Arpita's presence is slipping away, fall back into her memories march away indignantly. And still he says that they don't celebrate her birthday because she doesn't want to?

Male: Yash

"Samajh mein nahin aata Arpita, ki main uski janamdin ki khushi manau ya tumhari..."
I loved this dialogue for what remained unsaid. It was as though Yash had this thought but as soon as he verbalised it he was ashamed of what he had been thinking and immediately went to wish Palak for her birthday. For a moment he was totally caught up in his own grief but the moment his grief was visible to him, he realised how self-centred he was being

Funniest Scene Of The Week

Credit:maneet_forever9

For this week (June 11 to June 15th) the funniest scene has to be when the family is playing telephone, and Ansh tells Aarti and then it's Aarti's turn to tell Yash. Yash screws up the message and the whole family gets a kick out of itπŸ˜† but even funnier than this is that Yash doesn't agree and says that's what Aarti Ji said😊 Hope y'all enjoyed this week's scenes ... until next time see y'all πŸ˜Š
