I loved the scene of Daksha's head being cut off and tossed into the yagnakund. Even though Daksha was apologizing, the way he did it - like being offered oblations was as important to Shiva as holding yagnas were to Daksha. It was so annoying that I was glad that Veerbhadra cut off his head and tossed it into the yagnakund. Daksha's apology also ignored the fact that Shiva had lost Sati, who was irreplacable, at least by him.
The goat head looked really cute - too good for Daksha. One thing - did they use Surendra Pal's voice here when the goat was speaking - the voice seemed different. There were a few things surprising about it, however.
In the original story, Brahma, Vishnu and the devas wanted the yagna to be completed and asked Shiva to restore his life, but Shiva told them that the only way that would be done would be giving him a goat's head. He sent them off to kill the first goat they saw, and bring its head back, and that's how Daksha got a goat's head. Here, they showed Shiva invoking a goat head out of nowhere, and bestowing it to Daksha.
I found Prashuti's reaction to Daksha arising funny - can any of you imagine your bf/hubby being beheaded, and then restored to life w/ a goat head, and then liking it? Incidentally, the goat's apology to Shiva seemed more sincere. 😆
When Prashuti burst out crying after Shiva picked up Sati's body & left, I wish the goathead went up to her and snuggled her to comfort her. That would have been a scene. 😆
About the precap, I wish they don't go so fast into the Parvati chapter. There are things in Shiva's story other than his wife, and contrary to this serial, Mahadev wasn't all about romance. Now is a good time to show Indra's war w/ Vritra, Indra killing Vritra followed by Tarakasura defeating the devas and conquering Devalok. Give it a couple weeks b4 getting to the Parvati chapter.
