Hi guys,

It has come to the Dev Team's attention that our respective ATs have been going through hard times with members not following the AT rules etc. so the Development Team has come to a conclusion that if we can't get you guy stop, then your own friends can!

So from now on, the respective AT monitors are:

Rishbala AT: Phoenix.Xeelan, --Shivu--, and -Deepali88-

Vivian Dsena/RK AT: vivoash, -Rasmi24- and -Deepali88-, --Shivu--

Drashti Dhami/ MB AT: Cutieee1992

What does this mean?

This means that before you come to the Dev Team [Gur, Shruti or I] for help on AT issues, be it spamming, mocking etc, go to them!

The reason we have AT monitors is that they will deal with the members in their respective ATs.

Why should we go to them?

If you find these rules being broken:

Discussing other actors. DD fans in the VD AT, or even DD/Madhubala in the VD AT or discussing VD, VD fans and RK in the Madhubala AT
Spamming. If you see members posting "." numbers etc to get the AT to go faster, report it to them to the AT monitors!
Bashing. If you find members bashing, calling names, mocking the opinions of members, discussing about CCs, the forum, other members in the respective ATs, report them! Not to the DT but to the AT monitors!

Consequences

If the AT Monitors contact you through PM to remind you of your behaviour or point it out in the AT, please beware that the next time you break the same rule, you are liable for the respective AT's closure of a period of 24 hours or longer. Be it a simple mistake of spamming, you will get charged!
If the AT Monitors realize you are still breaking the rules, they will come to us, the Dev Team, and if you still do not stop after being warned by us, you will be banned from posting in that AT for an entire week or even longer depending on the misdemeanor.
If your behaviour continues then AT will be closed for a period of 24 hours, then 48 hours, then a week before being shifted to the Celebrity Fan Clubs section.
Lastly, if the fault still continues, then you WILL get a warning level too!

Please be aware that these are measures to keep all 3 ATs clean and working in an orderly fashion.

New AT Rules

Vivian Dsena AT:

Discussion about VD's previous roles as Abhay Raichand is ALLOWED.
Sukirti-VD are NOT allowed to be discussed and neither is Abhay-Piya or PKYEK in general.
Pictures of VD as Abhay and whatnot IS allowed as well as his pictures as RK but what is not allowed is pictures of Abhiya.
No discussion on DD/Madhubala. If you want to discuss them, make a separate topic
Spamming IS allowed, but maximum of 5 pages at a time. So yes you are allowed to go off topic but ONLY 5 pages at a time. If spammers are exceeding 5 pages then you guys WILL be penalized. But DO NOT make this frequent. The DT or the monitors do not want 5 pages of spamming then discussion and then back to spamming. We want MORE discussion and less spamming.
You are allowed to discuss VD's friends but you CANNOT mention that you'd like to see ___ enter as an actress/opposite VD in Madhubala. That is a touchy subject so stay out of it.
You are allowed to spam with pictures but only up till 3 pages at a time or else you will be penalized again. After 3 pages of picture spamming, you will have to do some actual discussion. If pictures are being discussed then they can be posted and can exceed 3 pages limit only because there IS discussion happening.
Basically, if you want to say that "RK/VD looked hot", "his expressions were mindblowing" etc, they have to be posted in the VD AT but if you have an actual discussion about VD's character, then you are free to make a new topic on the forum!

Basically, if you are praising an actor and gushing over them, then those posts will be moved to the respective AT but if you are discussing that actor in a context which does lead to more then gushing and praising, then that post is ALLOWED on the forum. Saying "___ looked so cute and hot" is AT material but saying "___ was not fair in the decisions he/she made but I still support him" can be posted on the main forum. So no, NOT all things will be closed down from now on. Mainly, we are looking for gushing/drooling driven posts which will be closed down from now on. If it's worthy discussion about an actor, and not how 'brilliant' that actor was, then the topic will live on!

Drashti Dhami AT:

Discussion about DD's previous roles as Geet Khurana and Muskaan Chadda are ALLOWED.
Maneet, GC-DD, Rahul-Muskaan are NOT allowed to be discussed and neither is DMG or Geet in general.
Pictures of DD as Geet and Muskaan and whatnot IS allowed as well as his pictures as RK but what is not allowed is pictures of Maneet and Rahul-Muskaan.
No discussion on VD/RK. If you want to discuss them, make a separate topic

Discussion about other characters from the show in the pretext that they are important to what is being discussed about Rishbala is ALLOWED.

And most importantly,

Discussions about Rishabh-Madhubala ARE allowed to be posted on the main forum and those topics WILL NOT be closed down. Only because the show is Rishbala and cutting off discussion about them and only telling them to be posted in the AT is NOT fair. And this includes gushing/drooling posts on Rishbala. They are ALLOWED on the main forum. But, if you are posting one-liners on Rishbala, then they go in the Rishbala AT.

Development Team Attacking/Bashing/Bias: K guys, listen. You guys yourself know that the ATs move fast. So if you guys see the other AT breaking rules, report it. And we will take care of it. Just because one AT gets a warning and the other AT doesn't doesn't mean that we are biased. It is just that we have not given a public warning to the other AT as we felt the misdemeanor wasn't big enough and or/ 2 people were involved and not the whole AT.

And so now that you can have no future problems, the AT monitors were introduced.

So follow the rules, report the AT misdemeanors to respective AT monitors before coming to us because if you do, your PMs and reports will just be forwarded to respective AT monitors.

Dear MB-ians,

While we all express our dislike with the potential future track, it is important to keep in mind the section rules. Over the past few days there has been way to much name calling and mocking.

Name calling is allowed on the forum given it is not abusive and not derogatory. Calling RK/Madhu a rapist is one such example that does not follow civil name calling. Please avoid using extreme names for any character. Effective now - if rigorous name calling continues, the MB Devt Team will immediately increase the individual's WL by 20%. If such name calling continues for an extended period of time, the DT may put a temporary ban on name calling until we feel this forum is mature enough to handle it.
Issues on External Sites: Please keep this away from here. What happens on Twitter and Facebook, stays on Facebook and Twitter. This means that ALL topics does not mean if it's Vahbizz, DD, Madhubala Producers etc tweeting topics, they WILL be closed. These topics will be closed without a note. Indirectly Mocking Opinions: You know exactly what I mean. It's been happening way to frequently here and will not be entertained. You are free to express your opinion and have a healthy debate with one another. However, mocking and posting instigating remarks on one's opinion will not be tolerated. If you are going to make a topic and mention "Oh, I don't get how many people think RK/Madhubala are ___" or "I have been seeing that many people are opening topics based on _____" or "WTH? How can people not understand that ___ isn't ____ and like do they not understand the show?" That means that you cannot mock/mention other members opinions in your topics. If members want to speak they can do it themselves. You cannot be like "DD/VDians think..." "I don't get how DD/VDians think that..." Any individual seen mocking opinions will see a direct warning level increase of 20%.

Dear MB-ians,

I think its high time that some clarifications be made regarding name calling and the use of adjectives to describe one's character.

For RK and Madhu - it's Rishbala. For Sultan and Madhu - it's Sulbala. No other pair names shall be allowed to describe this couple. That means no Bhaibala, no Rustbala etc. Same applies to their individual names. If you are found using other names, your post will be edited and amended to suit Rishbala/Sulbala.
Names used in the story will be allowed on the forum. However, the DT will look at the context in use - at the DT's discretion. If the names are used to mock or bash, there will be strict action taken. However, if one refers to RK as kameena to discuss the storyline it will be allowed. Terms like RK is a rapist will not be allowed. Please note that if any derogatory terms are used in the show itself, they will also not be allowed on the forum. We want a clean environment. Please find suitable substitutes.
Terming a character or the storyline dumb, idiotic, stupid will be accepted. These are adjectives and can be used to describe something or someone. Once again, it will be looked in terms of context at the DT's discretion. However, these terms will not be accepted if used against a fan base or particular individual.
Please note that this also applies to ATs and discussion threads. You cannot use name calling to bash the "other" fan group and not expect to get reported. ATs and discussion threads are not your personal space to attack others using name calling. Kindly stick to the individual whose AT it is.
We encourage you to report violating posts. However, please do not report material just for the sake of revenge. Just because a note was left in your AT or your topic does not mean you go around stalking the forum looking to seek revenge from the other fan group. Take a step back and ask yourself - have they truly violated the posts? What if I was in their shoes?
Avoid using caps and big font for an entire sentence or post as it represents shouting on a public forum. You can use caps to emphasize a word or two.
Lately there are have been many posts on the forum regarding the bashing, mocking and wars on this forum. Though we value the freedom of speech, kindly do not pinpoint fan groups - I know its sorta of hard not to do that but try to avoid stereotyping and generalizing against one fan group when it may just be a handful of them. Please carefully read the amendments and reminders below.

Reporting - The Madhubala Development Team really appreciate that members choose to report posts rather than retaliating back. However, some of us have been abusing the report button - the exact same post is reported by the same member 10+ times. We kindly request that you report only once rather than spamming the report button. Likewise, please do not report posts that are closed for review. We have acknowledged that there maybe something wrong with the topic and we are currently reviewing it.

Preaching + Moral Policing Posts - Enough with the Rishbala fans did this, Sulbala do this and pinpointing members. We had allowed preaching posts given they were not targeting and attacking. However, all we see is preaching and moral policing on the forum today. Therefore, effective now - no more moral policing and preaching posts. Any posts made on members will be closed down and given its content, it may even lead to a warning level increase.

Name Calling - A friendly reminder that name calling is allowed only and only if it is used to describe a character or his/her behaviour. Also, names used in the show can also be used given it is used in context of the show. Any abusive names like psychopath, madhumakhi etc. are not allowed and will be edited or removed at the DT's discretion. Please note just because we allow sadakchap and kameena on the forum does not mean it should be used inappropriately or against fans.

Bashing vs. Criticizing - There is a fine line between bashing and criticizing. It's one thing to be analyst but another to instigate and mock. Also, there's a difference between real and reel. Many have reported comments on Aryan for example, because a member had a negative view on his character. They 'hate' Aryan's character - this is an opinion and the Development Team will take no action because it is not bashing. However, had the statement been like I hate Aryan because he's ugly - this statement will be edited/removed. We take bashing quite seriously, therefore any bashing from this point onwards, character, member, celebrity etc. will see a warning level increase. If you are seen getting personal with a member, your warning level may be subject to go up 40%.

Disclaimers - "This post is only for Sulbala fans." "This post is only for Rishbala fans." will not be allowed anymore. This is a public forum and anyone is free to post anywhere they wish too and certainly do not need your permission to do so. Any further P.S. disclaimers will be removed and the post maker's warning level will be increased.

Invite Only - We have received many comments/reports saying this member is not apart of our AT or Discussion Thread, they were not invited. Invite only only belongs in Chat Clubs. It is not applicable to our forum.

Comparisons with Other Shows - Is this the Geet forum? Or the PKYEK forum? No. So stop bringing in characters from these shows into our forum and comparing them with characters from Madhubala. Maan, Abhay, Geet etc. are no way related to our show so kindly refrain from mentioning them in your comments. Only respective ATs can talk about DD, VD, AR's prior characters but no pairs or other associated characters talk is allowed. We have separate forums for that so please use those. Posts discussing the same will be removed/edited.

Rape/Rapist/s**t - These words are sensitive and have been used on the forum in a very insensitive manner. Yes you are entitled towards your opinion but your opinion can be expressed without the use of derogatory terms. Please be advised that these terms will not be excepted. Such posts will be edited/removed and violators will see an increase in their warning level.

Bringing physical attributes into discussion - Many members have been found to do the same at time even indirectly. Such negative posts are strict NO as far as IF rules goes. Anyone now onwards found making negative posts on physical appearances of a character/actor/fellow member will face strict action, even indirect mention of the matter will not be entertained.

Multiple ID (MID) - India-forums.com Code of Conduct strictly prohibits members from having multiple IDs. Please refrain from making MIDs, especially to bash celebrities, characters and/ or member. If ever convicted with having MIDs, all except the most active ID will be inactivated, followed by a raise in W/L to the active ID. And not every newbie is an MID - some are genuine members so do NOT attack members who belongs to newbie ladder by generalize them as MIDs.

The MB Development Team will assume that each and everyone member of this forum has reviewed and understood the contents above. These rules are effective now.

Also we have noticed many members claiming that the moderation team has been "sleeping." We just want to reassure you that we are working around the clock as quickly as possible to solve all issues. We deal with nearly 100s of reports every single day and it takes time to review + take action. So we kindly request you to be patient. We are not ignoring you.
