Yami Gautham proud about 'Gauravam'

Prakash Raj and Radha Mohan, as producer and director respectively, have dished out meaningful entertainers, and the list includes 'Azhagiya Theeye', 'Mozhi', 'Abhiyum Naanum' and 'Payanam'.

Now they have come together for a bilingual titled 'Gauravam', which is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu. With Allu Sirish (brother of Telugu star Allu Arjun) as protagonist, the film marks the Kollywood debut of Bollywood heroine Yami Gautham.

Says the actress of 'Vicky Donor' fame, "I have watched the production ventures of Prakash Raj and all of them are excellent. I am a great fan of Radha Mohan's Abhiyum Naanum. Hence I am glad to be part of Gauravam."

Stating that language is not a barrier for her, Yami says she is ready to act in any language, provided she gets good roles. On 'Gauravam', she says, "It is a huge project and I have an interesting role to play."

Gauravam tells the tale happening in a remote village. In this movie, Yami Gautam is playing a young village belle. A romantic love story will be presented in a rural background. It is to be noted that recent movies in Kollywood are presenting rural background. It is like Bharathiraja and Bhagayraj days are back in Kollywood.

Gauravam progressing at Rajahmundry

The second schedule of Radha Mohan's upcoming bilingualGauravam, starring Allu Arjun's younger brother Allu Sirish in the lead, is progressing at brisk pace in Rajahmundry.

The film recently completed a month long shooting in Mysore. The film stars Yami Gautam and Sricharan in important roles. Prakashraj is producing the film under the banner of Duet Movies. S.S. Thaman composes the music. Preetha handles the cinematography

Allu Arjun's brother, Allu Sirish, will romance Vicky Donor's heroine Yami Gautam on the banks of picturesque Godavari in his debut film Gauravam.

The Tamil-Telugu bilingual is being produced by actor Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan. "It's a soft romantic story with a good dose of family drama and entertainment," said a crew member.

Radha Mohan is known for tasteful films like Akasamantha and Ganganam. Looks like another member of Chiranjeevi's family has chosen wisely to kickstart his career

Prakash Raj gets busy

The actor and producer in Prakash Raj are keeping themselves too busy, one has to say. At present, his Duet Movies is producing a Tamil - Telugu bilingual titled 'Gauravam'. Also, talks are on to remake a Malayalam movie in Tamil.

As an actor, Prakash Raj is part of a slew of movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. His immediate release in Kollywood will be 'Thulli Vilayadu', directed by Vincent Selva of 'Priyamudan' and 'Youth' fame.

In this thriller starring newcomers in the lead roles, Prakash Raj is playing a 'comedy villain'. According to sources, the actor really enjoyed doing the role with a difference.

Meanwhile, 'Gauravam' directed by Radha Mohan is taking shape fast. Starring Allu Sirish, Yami Gautham in lead roles, the film is claimed to be a thorough entertainer fit for watching wit the whole family.

Gouravam': 2 schedules wrapped

Radha Mohan's directorial venture, Gouravam's two schedules have been wrapped. The second schedule was wrapped in Rajamundhry where the shoot took place for few weeks.

Two more schedules are left following which the shoot will be wrapped and the post production work will take place in full swing.

The Tamil - Telugu bilingual starring Telugu producer Allu Sirish who is turning an actor with this film and Yami Gautham, is produced by Prakash Raj who is a good friend of Radha Mohan. The film is said to be a rural entertainer

Gouravam Done with 50 % of Shoot

Debuting venture of new Mega Family Member Allu Sirish's Gouravam that is being directed by Radha Mohan has completed Rajahmundry schedule. They have shot more than 30 days in Rajahmundry for this film and the makers says that fifty percent of the shooting part is completed with this schedule.

The next schedule of this movie will start from mid September at Kanyakumari.Yami Goutam is playing the female lead in this film. Allu Sirish is sporting a muscular body in this love based family entertainer.

This movie is touted to be a romantic action entertainer which is being made on Duet movies banner by ace actor Prakash Raj. Thaman scoring the tunes and BVS Ravi of is working on the Telugu version of the film as Gouravam is a bilingual which will be shot twice for both Tamil and Telugu.

Yami Gautham injured

Actress Yami Gautham, who is playing female lead with debutante actor Allu Sirish in a Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie titled Gouravam, is injured while shooting a song sequence for the movie.

While the entire Gouravam team is involved with their assisted works and the shot was ready, Yami happened to slip from the bicycle, while performing for a cycling ride scene that resulted in the leg injury. Source reports, "While everyone in the set are panic about this serious injury, Yami Gautham has taken necessary medication and painkillers and resumed shooting with in two hours, as she doesn't want to skip the shoots for the day."

Gowravam to come out in January

Prakash Raj has once again shown that he is very professional about his productions and had announced that his next film will roll out on the 25th of January.

Gowravam is being directed by his friend Radha Mohan who tasted success with Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum and Payanam, all of which were produced by Prakash Raj. Noe his present project will include Allu Sirish and Bollywood actress Yami Gautham.

In a world of films where releases keep getting pushed back and postponements occur frequently, it's good to see Prakash Raj being so optimistic and confident about the team's schedule.

In the picture is Allu Sirish and Yami Gautam, the stars of Gauravam along with senior actor Brahmaji in the movie shooting location in Chennai. This is the fourth schedule of the movie which had completed majority of its shooting part. Produced by Prakash Raj, the film, which is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, has Allu Sirish making his filmy debut.

Gouravam wrapping up fast

Yami Gautam has signed a film with Nithin but before that she is already done with Gouravam, a Radha Mohan film. This will be Allu Sirish's debut movie. Gouravam is in post production stage. Recently, the talkie part was wrapped up near Chennai and the entire cast of the film took part in the schedule. Two more songs are yet to be shot and the rest of the film has been wrapped up. Prakash Raj is playing an important role and he's also producing Gouravam, a bi lingual on Duet Movies banner. The producer is planning to release the film either in the last week of January or early February. Brahmaji, Sri Charan and Nassar are also part of the cast. S S Thaman has composed the music and Preetha is the cinematographer.
