In today's episode, I didn't feel that the hospital scene between Sid and NK with Ram watching them was totally justified..it looked incomplete and abrupt. I was expecting an emotional scene between Ram and Niharika, where the latter confesses all her mistakes and the pain she has caused to KK and Ram right from the day she met Amarnath Kapoor etc. and asking for his forgivesness. Until the day, Kapoor Industries celebrated it's 40th anniversary, NK was Ram's emotional support and he too had great respect for her...infact it looked like he still has it...he still addressed NK as "Maa" in the hospital. They actually shared a very good Mother-Son bond from Ram's perspective until the day PK got arrested and NK's actual character came to light. From past few episodes, Ram looked hurt and furious with NK for manipulating and taking advantage of his love for his step-family..Ram wouldn't have gone to her to talk but she could have asked him to come closer and NK's exit would have been even more gracious had she apologized to Ram directly. Atleast one thing is clear that she didn't kill or poison Amarnath Kapoor but broke his first marriage and family. It is proved that NK is a selfish, greedy, money-minded mean person but not a murderer...I'm thankful to EK for not showing a mother being a part of son's murder-scheme be it sautela or own...that would have been a shame to watch.
It reminded me of the climax scene from "Beta" where own son hurts mom and step-son comes to the rescue. Eva will surely be missed...and the wise cracks of Mamaji with NK will no longer be seen...!! ðŸ˜
