Don't know about you guys'still recovering from the body blows and pain'..no'not from any brawl'but sustained from being taken to the really high point on Mon-Tue with a fiery Mona taking on her parents and giving a verbal whip lashing to Pradeep and then dropped dead like a cold stone by the CV's with a most idiotic Wednesday and Thursday double flop of Mona and her father having a collective brain freeze and trying to surpass each other in who was the more servile person to Pradeep.
Well..ok..here goes'as usual my thoughts in red.
Epi begins with Anu looking out of the window and seeing Pradeep and Mona leaving for the wedding...gets really angry and asks her spoon...Mallika WU? You said he had a meeting? Mallika feigns ignorance and just then Suri is passing by...Anu calls him and first after reaffirming that he is Pradeep's best friend and will always know his whereabouts asks him...where has Pradeep gone? So just because you are someones best friend you should be aware of his itinerary? Suri innocently replies...To Mona's cousin's wedding because of Monas parent's putting pressure...saying this he walks off but not before Anu reassures him smilingly that she is not at all angry with Pradeep and he is free to go anyhwere...Mallika...the dimwit that she is doesn't understand before Anu explains to her that now both of them will go uninvited to that same wedding and reveal Monas pregnancy news in front of the crowd...saying that even though the child will be born after 9 months...the reverberations will be felt today itself.
A rare appearance followed by actual words from mallikas husband who asks where the hell she is as they are waiting for her at dinner...Mallika says she is going with Anu for the wedding and Her husband blasts her for being Anus sppon saying she is only going to create trouble...come home but Mallika flips him off and says she will come later...Mona's in laws are shown listening to the whole thing and feel sorry for the second sons incapacity to lie about Mallika's where abaouts...Suhasi says we should inform Mona immediately that Anu is coming there but her husband says no...if u do that...Mona will leave...of course...if she had phoned Mona...there would be no drama left tomorrow...
Cut to the engagement where Pradeep is now begging Mona to walk with him and not run away from him as it looks odd in front of the whole crowd to be walking away from each other...this guy is becoming a professional beggar...either he is begging Anu to stay back or begging Mona not to marry or walk with him...Mona puts on her trademark uncomfortable, quizzical, tortured and sad all in one look and just then her cousins parents welcome them.Mona chides them for having not told her about the engagement...her cousins mother says sorry...and says that she hopes her daughters marriage should be as strong as Mona's who immediately says no...and then blurts out to remedy the situation saying she wants it to be stronger...of course the mandatory 12 saal ho gaye tumhari shaadi ko jaap begins now first by Mona's aunt and then endless number of times by the other relatives...The photographer comes in and forces Mona and Pradeep to stand next to each other and for Pradeep to put his arms around Mona who is visibly uncomfortable...As soon as the photo is over and the group disperses...Mona asks Pradeep to keep his hands off her...Pradeep begins his mandatory once in an episode blasting of Mona that he came only for her fathers sake and he did not come of his own free will...he has no qualms leaving right then leaving Mona again with the all in one look once more...
Just then Mona's parents come in with the kids all decked up who compliment Mona on her looks...Mona's father lets out a moronic sentence saying that they all look good and should stay together like this forever...before stares fly at him fast and furious ranging from "Are you mad" to "How can that hapen?" He backtracks saying be together in this function at least...Mona and Pradeep then walk over to the wedding couple. Mona's cousin...the bride says what a big fan of Mona bhabhi she is and she has her dress modeled on hers etc...the groom not to be left behind joins in saying he can immediately recognize Mona as he has heard so much from her and how he was convinced to marry after hearing about Mona and Pradeep's atoot bandhan of 12 saal...Mona and Pradeep look at each fidgetingly again before the groom asks Pradeep to come for a drink...who says sorry...I dont drink...yeah right...I only wink...at ladies in pink near the sink...
Anyways the groom whisks him away to the bar where Pradeep gulps not one but 3 straight neat...leaving the groom mighty impressed...not bad for a first time drinker...Just then Suri and Pammi walk in and the usual stale attempt at humor on the lesbian angle again takes off...Pammi tries to get Suri to say hi to a hot lady and Suri rightly refuses saying he wants to talk to Pradeep about Anu's arrival...at their house...Pammi chides his hormonal imbalance and walks off...
Just then Mona is introducing her kids to some guests and notices that the youngest Rajbir is missing and goes all over searching for him...a guest calls out saying he is downing cold drink after cold rink...a chip of the old block I must say...the father has gulped 3 straight at his bar and the boy is downing his drinks here...Mona calls the eldest daughter and chides her for not taking care of the youngest one and being too lost in herself...Pammi calms her down and Pammi says ...its ok..relax...in this crowd...kids will run around and Mona says if she does not see them together...she gets upset...that's strange Mona...three months back Rajbir was missing for two months completely but you were fine then...guess he has an invisible cloak to play with at home.
The kids are sitting with each other and wonder why the parents are now edgy and angry all the time when Bulbul says that post separation they are like this...Mona's aunt hears it and expresses surprise and catches Mona off guard by asking her are u separated? Just then Mona's mother comes and says ...no its about begin separated in the wedding ...not in real life and Mona and the kids are forced to toe the line...after the two aunties have left, Mona reaffirms her love for her kids saying ever since they separated their love for the kids has only increased and not gone down...Rano says ...we don't mind less love but please come back to us and live with us and Mona hugs her and cries...Epi ends...
Pre-cap...Anushka and Mallika in the funtion with ANushka saying she has two announcements to make...hmmm...wonder what they are? Any guesses?
One of the most boring and meaningless episodes ever...what was the point of dragging this whole function's gun gaan about Mona and Pradeep's marriage to such an insufferable extent...Looked like they were getting married and the wedding couple was the guest...
