Written Update 19 & 20 July

Mohan comes to his Manas Parekh's village with his brother to find Alakshmi. Kishan boards a bus to the same village because he wants to run away from Shanti Nivas. Mohan's sons and daughter-in-laws pose as him and try to sell the house. 

Mohan and his brother get harassed by Lakshmi and her friends. They throw stones at them and then have them sit on a cart with poisonous plants which causes them itching. Mohan gets scared of Lakshmi's nature but Shanti assures him that she is a good person but she has her ways of dealing with the world and that is what Shanti Nivas needs. 

Kishan arrives at the village and the villagers warn him to be careful of Alakshmi since he too is looking for Manas Parekh's house. Lakshmi mistakes Kishan to be the groom for Meena and throws cow dung on him. He gets furious and they have a fight but Lakshmi and her friends tease him some more and run away. Kishan arrives at Manas Parekh's house just as Mohan arrives there and they all complain about Alakshmi. Manas gets angry and tells his men to bring Lakshmi there. 

When Lakshmi comes Mohan cannot see her as his glasses broke. Manas tells her that she will get punished for what she did. Lakshmi says that only Mohan and his brother can punish and they were the ones wronged. Mohan asks her to come closer so he can see her. Finally Mohan sees her face and calls her Lakshmi and Lakshmi is surprised that someone called her by her real name for the first time. She likes Mohan and Mohan gives her 100 rupees as her punishment. His brother questions him and Mohan says that this is not punishment but shagun as she is going to be the lakshmi of Shanti Nivas. 

Mohan is talking to Shanti in the photo and she tells him that the situation is getting out of hand and how is he supposed to get Kishan married to Lakshmi. Shanti tells him that he needs to get his brother to support him and the only way to do that is if she can talk to him. Mohan disagrees as he is scared his brother will get a heart attack on seeing Shanti's talking photograph. Just then Kishan's mother calls and Mohan picks up and informs her that he is getting a daughter-in-law for her. She gets upset and hyper as how her son can get married without her presence. Shanti tells him to hang up the phone and scolds him for telling Neelu. Just then his brother walks in and Shanti starts talking to him. He faints out of shock but when he comes to his sense he realizes that he is not dreaming. Shanti convinces him to get Kishan married to Lakshmi. 

Neelu tells Ram about Kishan's secret marriage and Ram thinks that Kishan was his last hope as he was expecting Kishan to marry a rich girl and bring dowry so he could invest in business. He feels the need to stop the wedding if its happening with a poor girl. 

Mohan goes to Lakshmi's house the next morning and tries to fix the rishta. Lakshmi mistakes him as bringing a proposal for himself and runs away from the room that she was locked in by her mami. Outside her mami agrees to get her married to Mohan's grandson. 

Mohan's brother talks to Kishan about marrying Lakshmi and Kishan thinks he is being ridiculous. He thinks that if he stays in the village his dadu would get him married to that wild girl and he also runs away. 

Precap: Kishan gets into the back of a car to hide from his grandfather and Lakshmi ends up driving away in that car to run from her family.
