Recap: Anuj fails his morning test by making horrible tea. 

Anuj and Imarti scene where calls her the best mom. Imarti tells him that he needs to make breakfast but Ambi reminds him that if he tries that he will be late for work and will fail again. Anuj tells her not to worry and he'll make breakfast in 10 mins. Everyone gathers at the dining table and wonders what Anuj is making as there is no noise coming from the kitchen. Anuj comes out with a platter of bread, butter and jam. Sonu is happy with the breakfast but Vimala tells him that bread is an ok breakfast once in a while but he will need to make healthier breakfast. Imarti tells him that he will learn slowly. Anju goes to work but forgets his wallet and Ambi goes to give it to him. She tells him that he'll need to be careful as she won't be there to remind him about such things. 

Anuj asks her how she liked the breakfast. Ambi says that he was trying to be smart so he might have passed this phase. But he will need to prepare a good dinner. Anuj tells her he will definitely do so and Ambi asks him about his never-give-up attitude. Anuj says he got that from his mother and leaves.

Precap scene where the ladies make a list of things for Anuj to make and Kusum explains to Ambi that its necessary so that Anuj fails and takes her along.

A Pandit comes to see Srichand and Vimla about their daughter's marriage proposal. Pandit says that there are a few proposals but they ask a lot of dowry. Vimla scolds Srichand saying that she had warned him not to educate his daughter so much that now they cannot get her married to someone less educated than her and neither can they afford the dowry that educated families expect. Srichand tells Pandit that the world is changing and there must be some people out there who feel that an educated woman is more important than dowry. Vimla's daughter looks uncomfortable through the whole conversation. Pandit says he does have someone in mind and he'll talk to them. Vimla says that they will meet the boy outside the house because if iMarti gets to know she will create unnecessary scene. Imarti comes there to invite them for dinner later and vimla hides the proposal from her. Srichand doesn't like lying to Imarti but Vimla shuts him up.

Anuj comes home tired and they hand him the list for dinner. IMarti comes and cuts off everything in the list and tells him to make a simple dinner. Anuj goes to kitchen but is confused. Imarti tries to help but VImla comes and shooes her away. Anuj is making a mess in the kitchen and Imarti thinks how she can help. She sees that vimla's whole family is upstairs playing with everyone and goes to Vimla's kitchen to make dinner and help Anuj. But Vimla has locked the kitchen door so Imarti gets in through the window but her saree rips in the process. She makes the dinner and is packing it when Vimla gets suspicious knowing that Imarti is not around. She comes downstairs and hears a spoon fall in the kitchen and opens the kitchen door while Imarti is trying to escape. She gets shocked that now Vimla will see her and tells everyone she was trying to help Anuj.
