Some nok-jhok between Shivu's parents. Shivu's father asks him more about Anandi, they all joke a bit about each other. Shivu observes all this very emotionally. He says he misses such moments and wants to savor it all. Dadaji teases that he will forget them all after his wedding to Anandi. Shivu's mom wants to meet Anandi immediately. Shivu says he will call and arrange to meet the next day. Dadaji refuses and suggests that they meet Anandi immediately and surprise. Shivu tries to convince DJ, but DJ is adamant. All family members start to go out to meet Anandi. Shivu stops them saying he has something important to say first. He says that Anandi was married before. She is a divorcee. Everyone is shocked. Shivu explains that she recently got divorced. Shivu tells them about Anandi being a balika vadhu and that she got married when she was a child. Her husband went to Mumbai to study. There he found some other girl and married her. The family is shocked as Shivu reveals all details about Anandi. CM asks if Anandi still lives with her in-laws after the divorce. Shivu tells her that Anandi is considered as the daughter of the house. In fact, it was Anandi's in-laws who are looking to get Anandi remarried so that she can be happy.
Shivu's mom says she has never seen or heard this before. If Singhs have disowned JB and accepted Anandi as their daughter, she must be truly special. Shivu asks his family if they have any objections about Anandi being a divorcee. DJ says he agrees with Irawati that Anandi must be truly special for Singhs to accept her despite everything. And after suffering so much at such a young age, she has still managed to achieve so much, which is admirable. Dj declares he has no objection regarding the wedding. CM doesn't look happy where as everyone else is happy.
In her room, Irawati gets ready to go meet Anandi. CM comes there. CM agrees and says that she has never seen Shivu this way. He must really love Anandi a lot. She says that love also makes people blind. She asks Irawati if she doesn't wish for a virgin bride for Shivu. Irawati says that all this does not matter and the only important thing is the girl who marries Shivu should be the most suitable for Shivu and should take care of his happiness. That is the reason Shivu probably loves Anandi, since he must have loved her qualities. CM worries that Shivu is from city and Anandi is from a small village. WIll they be able to adjust? Irawati says that despite being in village, Singh's are so progressive in thought. Even city-bred people like her and CM won't think of taking such bold steps. CM doesn't look convinced. Irawati asks her to first meet Anandi and family and then judge them.
In the haveli, DS looks out the window waiting for the moon to show. Makhan comes there and tells DS and Gehna that collector's Dadaji is here to meet her. DS is surprised. She asks Gehna to call B&B. DS comes down and sees DJ. She looks a bit nervous. DJ introduces himself. He jokes a bit with DS who retorts back similarly. DS asks him the reason for his visit. DJ says he came to meet his grandson's future wife. DS is happy to hear this. B&B come down with Gehna. Bhairav asks for Shivu. DJ says he is making him and the rest of the family to wait outside so that he can talk first. DS tells Gehna to call Anandi to come home soon. DJ calls his family inside. Shivu and family come in. They greet the Singhs. CM still does not look happy.
