Manav and Archana along with their family are taking the Ganpati to their home .Sachin is carrying it .Manav asks Archana why she is so quiet and Archu says that she is thinking that Aie ( Savita ) should be there as well with them .Manav tells Archana to stop and says that he is not stopping Savita from doing pooja but he will be not be there where she is present .
Sachin slips and the murti is about to fall but Vishnu ( who is around ) quickly grabs the murti . Manav comes and tells Vishnu off and tells him to keep away from his family .Vishnu says that he has no interest in his family but he could not see ganpati murti falling as his mother is a great believer in Ganpati . Sachin tells Manav not to talk to the likes of Vishnu and they all leave .Vishnu's hand is hurt but he puts a tilak on his forehead with his blood .
Varsha , from a distance , is watching her sister and is getting emotional . Savita was also watching her family from a distance .She feels upset that they are totally ignoring her today .She stands besides Varsha and starts talking to her .Varsha quickly puts her saree pallu on her head so that Savita will not recognise her .
Savita tells Varsha that this family going in front is hers and because they are angry with her , they are ignoring her on an important occasion like this .Then she asks Varsha why she is standing alone and if her family too is ignoring her today .Varsha starts crying and runs away .
Varsha then looks around for Vishnu then she sees that he has joined another family that is taking Ganpati home and is carrying the murti ...
Manav brings the murti home and places it on a beautiful platform . His whole family is wit him in this pooja .Archana looks at Purvi and tells her to come forward .Arjun is looking at Purvi and is looking very sad .Purvi glances at him and then moves away from where he is standing .Ovi comes and stands besides Arjun .
Manav and Archana do the aarti , then Ovi and Arjun do it and then Vinod's family does it .Sachin and Aniket do it and then it is Purvi's turn to do the aarti .Arjun looks at her with a sad look while she is performing the pooja .Ovi also notices this but does not say anything .
Savita is standing outside the house when one of the Chawl ladies comes and taunts her for not taking part in the pooja .Savita gets angry with her and tells her to mind her own business.
After the pooja is done , Archana and Purvi leave for the Karanjkar house as Sulochna also has organised a pooja in that home .
Arjun is working in his office .Ovi is also there with him .She asks him if she can help but he says no .She tells him that she will be joining him in his work but needs some time to adjust to the work place .Arjun tells her that at home they are husband and wife but at work they will be collegues and his working style is very different and Ovi might find it a bit weird .
A manager , called Mr. Shah , brings in a file .Arjun is not happy with the work done on the file and tells off Mr. Shah .When he leaves , Arjun remembers how Purvi once told him to listen to others also and let them have their say .Arjun calls Mr. Shah back in the office , he apologises for being rude to him and looks at the file again .
Ovi asks Arjun why he was so polite to this man and Arjun tells her that Purvi always told him to try and understand his staff and they all are nice people and if he is good to them then they too will work hard for him .
Later a girl comes in the office and informs Arjun that she was unable to get an appointment from someone .Arjun tells her off and says that if Purvi was here then the job would have been done by now .After she leaves ,a very upset Arjun starts thinking about Purvi .he just does not know what to do and how to get over her .
All this while , Ovi is sitting there and watching him .
In the Deshmukh house , Manav and Vinod are sitting wit hthe organisers of the Ganpati event .Manju and Punni are working in the kitchen .Manju is getting shock after shock seeing the amount of wealth that Manav has .First he pays the organisers the full amount of the functions ( makes Archana give the cheque for this special occasion ) and then finally he shows them the gold necklace that is going to be put around Ganpati .The Gold necklace is worth 55 Lakh ruppees and everyone is mighty pleased to see such a grand looking necklace that was made specially for this event .
Outside near a tea stall, Balan is telling Vishnu and the rest of the gang that he has confirmed information that Manav will be putting a 55 lakh worth gold necklace around Ganpati and he wants Vishnu to steal that necklace .
Vishnu is uncomfortabel and tells Balan that he is out on bail and to go back and mess with Manav's family could prove to be risky for him as he is in the middle of a court case .Balan does not listen to him and somehow convinces him to steal the necklace .Vishnu looks convinced that he can do the job this time .

Purvi is looking at a picture where there is Archana , Manav , baby Soham in Varsha's arms and Satish .She is in the Karanjkar house and is pretty shocked to see Varsha .Sulochna comes in the room and tells Purvi off for looking at that picture .
Purvi points at Varsha and wants to know who this woman is .
