Sooraj talks to
Santosh about Sandhya's ambition, in front of his family after his
grandfather's shradh. He discloses to them that Sandhya's parents had
wanted her to become an IPS officer. Santosh refuses to go against the
customs and traditions to fulfill Sandhya's parents' dream. She
criticises Sooraj for choosing Sandhya's dream over his family's
dignity. Mohit, Chhavi, Vikram and Meenakshi taunt Sandhya for wanting
to become a police officer and Sooraj for supporting her.

Santosh scolds Sandhya
for breaking the coconut. She tells her that only men are allowed to

Brahmins as women are restricted from coming in contact with them. The
Brahmins are offended as a saree falls in their midst during the feast.
Sandhya convinces them to resume the feast after reminding them that
they were brought into this world by a woman.

whereas Santosh frowns upon the gender of the baby. Santosh gives her

truth, Sooraj tends to Rajkumar's leg injury. Sandhya calls Sooraj and
tells him to prevent Rajkumar from entering the temple. Rajkumar gets

had triggered it and let him enter the temple. They identify Chaturi and

hospital where Chaturi has been admitted to kill her. He enters the

from which Chaturi had called but the number goes out of service. She
notices that the envelope containing Chaturi's letter is dated four

that she is fine and asks her not to visit her. Meenakshi informs Sudha
that Chaturi is alive. Rajkumar searches the house for his pen drive
