HOSPITAL
Pratigya's baby finished her feed, Pratigya put her on her shoulder and rubbed her back to wind her. A few minutes later she came out of the room and saw that lady again sitting outside with her son, she really felt for the woman, being one herself she could sympathise with her.
Pratigya sat down next to her, still rubbing her baby's back.
Pratigya: Bahut pyara hai apka ka beta, bilkul apne maa par gaya hai.
Woman: thanks, abki beti bhi sundaar hai. Pratigya smiled at the praise.
Pratigya: Iske papa nai aye?
Woman: Nai abhi bhi nai aye hai, mujhe lagta tha ke iska janam hone ke baad woh badal jayega. Pratigya was quiet she didn't know what to say.
Woman: Apke Pati bahut acche hai meine dekha ke woh nikele room se, to woh thode deer bahar behta tha.
Pratigya: Haa mein bahut lucky hoon, humari pati bahut ache hai. She smiled at her then her attention went to her baby.
Woman: Apka ka naam?
Pratigya: Mein Pratigya she smiled.
Woman: Prena.
Pratigya: Aur mein ek vakeel bhi hoon, apko kuch madat chaiye to ab humko call kar sakte hai. Mere card mere pati ke saath bhejhwa dete hoon.
Prena: Accha thank you.
Pratigya: Arre yeh to sogaye.. acha abhi mein chalete hoon.
She said and carried her baby back to her room. On the way she bumped into a man.. he was covered with a beard a complete stranger to her, young looking but unrecognizable.
Man: Tum.. in-ter-zar karte.. he was clearly drunk Pratigya moved back from him.
Man:to yeh hum do-no ke hoti..
Pratigya: tum sharab peke aye ho?.. she was disgusted.
her baby stirred which brought her attention to the little one.
Pratigya: Kya bakwaas.. when she looked up from her daughter the man had disappeared. She looked around now felt slightly unsafe.. she quickly walked towards her room, and shut the door, she decided to inform the nurse about this in the morning and was grateful Krishna was with her tonight.
She quickly laid her daughter in the nursery bed.
then took her gown off and hanged it on the hook behind the door.
She wanted to inform Krishna immediately about what happened.. She saw him he was fast asleep.
she smiled and thought to herself kitni pyari lagte hai jab sauta hai.. she was indeed lucky and that man she saw outside was all forgotten about, she wanted to concentrate on what was important. She got into the bed next to him but not before giving him a kiss on the forehead.
Krishna was woken up by her movement.
Pratigya: Sogaye ho? She whispered.
Krishna:Nei babu.. bus esi he.. he turned to face her.
Krishna: Humri gudiya?
Pratigya: sogaye hai..
Krishna: Accha tumo bhi soja..
Pratigya: Neend nahi aree hai.
Krishna: Hmm kaa bhava? he
asked now wide awake.
Pratigya: kuch nai bus apne pati dev ke saath bate karna chaite hai.. she said putting an arm around his waist. And laying her head on his chest.
Pratigya: Pata hai Krishna hum bahut lucky hai.. Krishna gave her a confused look.
Pratigya: Kyunki hum ko tumhare jasi pati mila..I love you Krishna
She looked deep into his eyes.
Krishna: I love you too babu, babu ek baat pooche?
Pratigya: Haan poocho.. she said gripping him tightly, so she was closer to his face.
Krishna: Jon bhakat humri betiya aye tab tumo bohat dard huwa ka?
Pratigya: Haan Krishna dard to huwa tha.. abhi bhi puri tharha hum theek nai huwe hai, lekhen Krishna yeh dard ek meetha sa tha, kyunki humari bache ke liye aur tumhare yeh pyar ki nishani ko ise duniye mein lane ke liye har aurat ise guzarti hai. Aur jab nurse ne mujhe humari beti di tab mujhe mesoos huwa ke yeh saab sabhar ka phul hota hai. Akhir humare bacche aahi gai. She said slightly cuddling him more.
Krishna: Thank you babu, tum humka itna accha tofa diyo. He kissed her head. Pratigya looked at him and took him by surprise, she kissed his lower lip, Krishna captured her top lip, before they knew it the kiss grew a bit deeper than she had anticipated.
Krishna gently pushed her on her back.. As much as she enjoyed his every touch and could feel his lips trailing kisses down her nape, she wasn't ready.
Pratigya: Krishna.. Krishna.. ahh.. she whimpered at the slight pain she got from his weight being on top of her. She put a stop to the kiss.
Krishna: Babu ka bhava.. lagi to nai? he said stopping.
Pratigya: Nai theek hoon, Lekhen Krishna aaj raat hum tumko kuch nai desakte hai..
Krishna: Kono baat nai, he said coming off her and laying on his back next to her. She felt slightly bad because she initiated it.
Pratigya: Sorry Krishna..
Krishna: aree babu kono parishani ne he took her back in his arms.
hum interzaar karenge jab tum puri tarase theek hojao, abhi tumo aram karo.. he said still holding her close to him.
Krishna: Ab humri rajkumari ko doodh kabo pena hai?
Pratigya: Do ghanto baad..chote bacche bus doodh he pete hai.
Krishna: Eee ka dui ghante.. accha to babu tomo so javo.. humri betiyaa ko tumo ki zaroorat hogi hmm? When he got no answer he saw that his babu had fallen a sleep and already was in deep sleep as he looked at her angelic face he too fell asleep.
2 hours flew and the baby cried. Pratigya was so tired she was asleep but Krishna hearing his baby cry woke up and picked her up from the nursery.
Krishna didn't know what to do.. he himself half a sleep,he went and stood next to Pratigya.
Krishna: ee babu, babu.. the baby kept on crying.
Krishna: Eee to bahut thak gay hai..leken ka kare bacchi ka doodh pena bhi zaroori hai.
Krishna: babu, babu Pratigya, Pratigya!
Pratgiya: Haa Krishna kya huwa? she could barely keep her eyes open
Krishan: Babu eka doodh pena ka bhakat agaya.
Pratigya: haa, she sat up in the bed. Haa lavo hume. Krishna gave
her the baby.
Pratgiya weakily smiled she was exhausted.
Krishna: Accha babu humo bahar jate hai.
Pratigya: kyu?
Krishna: kyu ka,ka matlab tumo kiyo ke jab tum ee doodh pela re ho to. Then Pratigya remembered that man.. who she met earlier and she did not want to be alone.
Pratigya: Nai Krishna tum theek ho humare saath yaha, pati se kya sharmana. She said half a sleep..
Krishna: Egdam sahi bole babu. To hum yaha tumre pas behte hai tum unka pelavo.
Shyness and everything had gone out of the window, Pratigya began to feed her baby, Pratigya rubbed the baby's back as she latched on. Krishna didn't know where to look.. he just tried to go to sleep, but couldn't as he saw his babu face her eyes were shut he hoped that she was aware she was holding their baby. Kahe gir na de..
Krishna heard the baby cry
again.. he turned to look and saw her has latched off her mother.
and her milk was dripping on her cheek.
Krishna: aree ab ka kare.. babu, ee babu he whispered.
Krishna: Humo kuch karte
hai, ka kare.. he leaned up to Pratigya and then tried his best not to wake
her, he lifted his daughter head a little and helped her latch on again, in
order to do so he touch pratigya's breast, he was just worried that she
might wake up, but he was her husband and right now the baby was the priority.
Just then Pratigya stirred a little but didn't notice anything, the baby was happily drinking again thanks to Krishna's help he looked at her tired face.
Krishna: Humri bechari babu
kitni thak gay hai.
He just wanted hold her tight and comfort her so she can sleep peacefully. He himself tried to sleep a few seconds later he saw the baby she was wide a wake she had drank her milk.. Krishna saw that Pratigya was slightly snoring she will not wake up,
He got up from the bed and closed her maxi slightly for her and took gudiya from her.. Krishna held his daughter and remembered in initial days that she use to wind Samar he remembered from that and started to pat his daughter's back gently.
Krishna: Humri pyaarsi gudiya he said looking at her, when she let out a little burp.
Tumri amma to sohi gay ab humka tume Sulana pade ga, kono baat nai he said rubbing her back..
then cradled her a little and she fell asleep. He kissed her head and put her back to bed. Then looked over to Pratigya she had covered herself with the bed cover. Krishna was starting to feel tired too having a new born was taking its toil on both of them, he looked over at his wife, kissed her on the cheek as he loved her so much his Pratigya.😛
then he too joined her in dreamland.
