congrats on new thread..

I live in New Orleans. after katrina we had no power for 3 months. this year after issac we had no power for 8 days. hope they do better response in New York. all the best to you. we deal with hurricanes often here and feel your pain. it is really stressfull. moreover we are a city below sea level and surrounded by a levee system. that also causes problems here due to high water level. Hope you all recover soon and your house has no major damage.
