Episode starts from yesterday's scene where Ira and Meenu are worried about Saanchi's behaviour and dadu pacifying her. Just then Shiv enters and says it is ok if Saanchi does not want to join, after all she is a grown up and make her decisions. With an assertive tone, he says that Sanchi had come specially for bhai-duj and that's more than enough for him. He tells her that Mahi will drop her back, and that he will cancel the dinner at Anandi's. Saanch stops him from calling A and tells that she will go for dinner with everyone. Shiv asks her to put on a smile.
At haveli all Singhs and Shekhars are having some good time, and DS asks where is Mahi & Saanchi, who were missing. Ira replies that they will be at haveli soon as they are coming on bike. M& S arrive, and dadu introduces Saanchi to everyone, saying that she is their beloved princess. Just then A comes with water and DS says that here is our princess. Saanchi sees A and looks astonished. She gets the fb of A cleaning the Kid and exclaims with disgust ' Oh My God! You are the one who were bathing kids on road. A, very innocently replies how she managed to help 2 kids who were fighting. All smile at her reply.
Ds asks saanchi to sit next to her and says how do you like A, as your bhabhi. Saanchi stares at A with sulken face. Ira quickly interrupts and covers up by saying that A is someone who is loved by everyone. Ds happy to hear and this and proudly tells saanchi that A will prove to be a very good friend to her, after all they are same age.
Ds mentions that she is so happy to see entire Shekhar family together - Anandi's new family. She also announces that after Ekadashi, Shiv & Anandi cannot meet until marriaege. All shocked, Shiv disappointed like a kid. Anandi understands his expression and has a teasing smile on her face. Alok says, if that is the tradition, they will gladly follow it. Shiv makes a puppy face.
Mahi pitches in says if there are such strict rules, then whe won't marry any girl from Jaitser. All laugh and saanchi says ' thank God.'
Ds asks A to show Saanchi around. In their room Saanchi starts quering A one by one, such as; does he wear Ghaghra always, doesn't she feel uncomfortable and what does she wear if she has to casually go out for movies etc. Saanchi 's language is quite accusing , although A replies politely that she is used to it because she is brought up that way and that she does not watch lot of movies, as she is always busy with work. At every point saanchi intrerogates A more & more making her feel uncomfortable and silly.
A is disturbed. Saanchi sees wind chimes and asks how does she have one modern thing in such an antique set up? A replies that it is Shiv's gift. Saanchi says no wonder and goes to wash room.
Shiv comes to see A and says that it is so hard for him to keep away from her. And to top it up he won't get to see A till marriage. A says that traditions are meant to be folowed and there is no other way to meet before marriage.
Shiv asks A, will she be able to manage without seeing him? A blushes and shiv has a big smile on his face. He challenges her that he will meet her before wedding. Saanchi comes out of washroom and all proceed downstairs for dinner
After dinner, all are sitting and G politely comments that Saanchi didn't each much. Saanchi rudely cuts off, that food had so much of ghee and that she needs to maintain, afterall she doesn't wear ghaghras. Meenu covers for her.
Some villagers come to haveli looking for J. They want to thank him for farmer's co-operative. Ds says he is not around, and the villager says that in that case he will give sweets to 'beendni-sa' to pass on to J. All shocked. villager covers up sayiing, he meant Sarpanch bitiya.
Saanchi asks who is J? All shocked.
Voice Over: Upbring matters a lot in shaping a person's attitude.
Pre-cap: A tells Ira on phone that Ds has gifted Ghaghra to Saanchi, which she might not like and suggests to change. Ira was covering up, when Saanchi bursts out saying that she doesn't like the gift and should pass it on servant. A over hears
