She started her career at the age of 17 with Kahe na kahe. She was attending college and participated in theatre performances and this led to her getting cast as the lead role in Kahe Naa Kahe.
After her stint as Kinjal in Kahe Naa Kahe, she played a cameo in 9X show Kya Dil Mein Hai. She then went on to play the role of Veera, the sister of the male protagonist in Star Plus show Kis desh me hain mera dil . After that she played the role of Yamini in Aahat- Yamini is a girl who hears the voices of her evil twin sister Malika, so, she joins the PASAR.
After Aahat, D'Souza went on to play the role of the male protagonist Shravan's girlfriend, Taara. She is played for a character of Shravan's realization of his love for Saanchi (Ankita Sharma) then she quit.
The previous roles, although beneficial, were all supporting roles. She portrays the lead role of Jeevika in Star plus show Ek hazaaron me meri behena hain , produced by Cinevistaas.
