Akash Soukhee (born May 20, 1996) is a Mauritian male fashion model. He
is best known as a Teenage Model of the Oxygen's program The Janice
Dickinson Modeling Agency. He is the brand ambassador of Formation
Fashion House and has also appeared on the cover of Vogue Magazine.
Biography
Akash Soukhee, the Mauritian teenage male model who started his modeling career in the age of fifteen. He was appeared in several magazines such as The Grand Magazine, Vogue, Rockstar Weekly, Cosmopolitan, Diva magazine, Celebrity magazine, Harper's Bazaar, First Communion magazine. He was also the brand ambassador of fashion house where he gains popularity by the posters who launch in big cities. Akash has also done many advertisements and commercials like Farouk Hossen, Model Agencies.
Early life
Akash was born in the tropical island Mauritius, he attended the Jawaharlall Nehru School for his primary studies. He then shifted to Modern College for his secondary studies. Akash has taken part in many extra curricular activities such as in Elocution Contest, Recitation Contest, PowerPoint and Projects he won the contests which he participated and received trophies, gold medals and certificates. Akash Soukhee has one elder brother and a younger sister.
Modeling career
Akash had never taken modeling career seriously after changing a dozen ambitions he has chosen to become a male model. Akash was never interested in modeling affairs by one of the most professional fashion designer approach her sister for a modeling assignment. Akash was very appreciated and had encourage her sister for the assignment but due to school final examination her sister could not perform the assignment Akash and her sister were both regretful but however Akash had the contacts of the production house and the fashion designer. After attenting many parties he was suggested by his friend to pursue a career in modeling finally Akash had agreed and drop to the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. He was selected and he was chosen to be the brand ambassador of Formation Fashion House. However Akash had also appeared in several magazines such as The Grand Magazine, Vogue, Rockstar Weekly, Cosmoplitan, Diva magazine, Celebrity magazine, Harper's Bazaar, First Communion magazine, Maxim, FHM. Akash had gained popularity in the Fashion House Advertisement due to the posters was launched throughout the world. Akash had also appeared in many Advertisements and commercials like Farouk Hossen, Modeling Agencies, Hybrid Clothing.
Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency
In 2006, Akash traveled to Los Angeles to attend an open call audition for The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency during the show's taping of its second season. He was selected to join the agency and within a few weeks moved to the Los Angeles area.
In season two, Akash was chosen to participate in the Catalina Island photo shoot for .
In season three, Akash's roommate Grant Whitney Harvey joined the agency. Akash was hired to do photo shoots for Go Soft wear and Dragonfly by Edward Dada. During the public demonstration by the agency models in support of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Akash was one of the models that removed his clothing as part of PETA's "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign. At season's end, Akash was chosen by Janice Dickinson as one of her top models that would travel with her to Miami to test the viability of opening a Miami branch of the agency. In Miami, Akash joined the other models in doing a runway show for Ed Hardy intimates and mens underwear.
