The Serial is a new and interesting experience for Karan Kundra

Punjabi guy Karan kundra has become a very familiar face of television industry and for fans after playing the role of Arjun in Kitani Mohabbat Hai.

After his debut show, karan kundra did not look back. Karan kundra has made his image not only in tv shows but he also appeared in dance-based shows and punjbai films too.

Currently,Karan kundra is winning the hearts of his fans with the youth-based crime show Gumrah-End of innocence on channel V as host and story narrator.

Butt karan's new show The serial is very different from previous ones. The Serial is a reality based show where Karan kundra is playing himself.

It was earlier very different and annoying for him to face cameras every time. It was a bit irking to show camera about whatever was done and wherever one went.

According to Karan Kundra, acting .anchoring , interviews are a lot more easier than being oneself in a show like The Serial.

But as time passes, Karan has adjusted with this change of his acting life.He is now enjoying the new and interesting twists and turns of life in The Serial.

After Big B, Salman its Karan Kundra on the list

Of late, it was an exclusive gossip on TOI.com about Karan Kundra and Madhura Naik's relationship break-off. Karan Kundra-The Kitani Mohabbat Hai boy also claimed fame through a cult show Gumraah on Channel V, where Karan with his unique style of hosting managed to gained larger eye balls. The show produced by Vikas Gupta's The Lost Boy Production too got famous and become the talk of the town in small period of time.

Talking on Kundra's hosting skill and reach to the audiences a source informs, "Recently a survey was done by Star, where 9000 people were asked many questions about GEC's and was also asked who comes first in mind as a host of a non-fiction show. According to their results, Big B bagged the first place as host of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Salman Khanstood second for hosting Bigg Boss and third was Karan Kundra for Gumraah, followed by Amir Khan for hosting Satyamev Jayate."

Accordingly, Karan stood 3rd amongst the superstars, who made their presence on small screen. Wow! Congrats Karan.

We contacted Karan Kundra to congratulate and he says, "The feeling is great because for the first time I tried my hands on anchoring and people loved me for that. I am loving that feeling for sure."

'The Serial' kills the clutter

As television channels vie for attention, switching from genre togenre in their quest for the perfect show, Now a show is set to carve a new telly genre in itself. The Serial is anon-fiction show in which India's most popular TV stars playthemselves as we are invited to a world where "coming-of-age" isconstantly at loggerheads with "coming up in life" and ultimately leads us to the complete truth about our favourite stars.

Seen through the eyes of a 17-year-old named Rohan, it shows Karan Kundra, Pooja Gor and Sara Khan among a host of other well-known television celebrities playing themselves in what is a first on IndianTelevision. As the 'struggler' Rohan embarks on his journey into themuch-sought-after world of the small screen in Mumbai, the realstories of tellyland unfold one by one. Stories which shock andsurprise, stories which last and linger.

Every character in The Serial has a role to play in creating the worldof this unique show. While Karan Kundra is "The Punjabi", Soumya Sethis "The Cutie", Pooja Gor is "The Lover" and Sara is "TheEntertaining" Khan. In today's time internet is the most useful technology. It not only helps us in our daily lives but also helps us on our professional side.

Punjabi Munda Karan Kundra, who is seen in Channel V's The Serial stated, "I have a maximum usage of internet from my phone. I am very vigorous on Twitter and Facebook. I do my banking work through internet. Since my parents and family stay far away, I keep in touch with them with the help of the iphone app Facetime. I also use Google map if I am stuck somewhere. "

India's most-wanted dance pair: Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik on Nach Baliye 5

After the fame of Bigg Boss Season 6 another reality show is all set to roll onto the small screen.

Based on dance, Nach Baliye 5 will have couples both from Bollywood and television world shake a leg to impress their fans. The one who fails to do so will be eliminated.

Indian Tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik may be seen setting the stage on fire. According to reports the two may have also been approached by Star Plus on which the show will be aired.

Gurmeet has recently won another dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' where Madhuri Dixit was the judge. The pair together can give the other contestants a tough fight .

Gurmeet's competitor on the same show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was Rashami Desai, what would be the former' s reaction on seeing the runner-up along with hubby. Rashami shot to fame after performing on some foot tapping tunes on dance show 'Zara Nach ke Dikha'.

Sharing the same platform with Rashami were Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundra who competed against each other on the girls versus boys dance face off. Kritika and Karan fell in love while shooting for their soap 'Kitni Mohabbat Hai'. Both have proved their skills previously and could be game for Nach Baliye 5 as well.

Clean & Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face 2012 at Podar College

The students of Podar College, a bunch of enthusiastic and talented performers, showcased skills ranging from mimicry to Marathi latkas and jhatkas.

While some contestants were trained in classical music, others crooned Sufi and old films songs. A few preferred playing the guitar. One of the notable performances was by Sarang Patil, who started off by painting on a canvas and followed it with a dance performance.

Mangesh Palav had everyone in splits when he mimicked the way a couple of his friends flirt. Sheena Uppal left the audience spellbound with her Salsa skills. On the other hand, Rahul Deo had the girls cheering for him as he strummed his guitar and sang along.

Priyanka Gawali, the female winner, danced to a popular Marathi song. The winner among the boys, Dhruv Shukla, stood out for his quick wit, presence of mind and dance performance. One of the female runners-up, Shweta Rokade, caused a laugh riot when she mimicked popular toon characters Shinchan and Pikachu. Later, she also grooved to Halkat Jawani. The other runner-up, Rasneet Oberoi, walked the ramp.

Harsh Shah and Kunal Rege, the two runners-up among the boys, came up with impressiveperformances — a mono act and dance, respectively.

Celebrity judge Karan Kundra was a favourite with the students. In fact, the winner, Priyanka, wanted to take the actor home. In his inimitable style, he asked her, 'Is your mom a good cook?'. When she said 'I am a better cook', pat came the response, 'Let's go right now'. The highlight of the contest was when Karan joined the students to dance along to the tunes of Angrezi Beat.

As the show is based on real life of TV actors, it recently saw actors Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali making their appearance on the show and now as everything goes 'real' 'real' in the show, A real Karan Kundra's friend is set to enter the show as the revealer.
