Parameshwar
In the village of Sithaiyan Kottai there (SK) is a bad man called Paramesh lives who cheats the villagers in the name of God. The villagers believe that he is the God...and this Paramesh acts as if amman gets into to him and cheats people by doing some tricks. He has an adiyaal called Vettaiyan.

This Paramesh has his father living with him. He has a wife and a son whose name is Dheena. They are related to KAncahna...Dheena is Kanchana's athai paiyan.Paramesh's father is on wheel chair whio is paralysed.
Little's Kanchana's Step Parents
In the same village lives the little Kanchana and her step parents. Little Kachana's parents try to have a baby bit fails...A josiyar tells that the little Kanchana is an evil and they have to get to rid of that girl. So one day the Step mother takes little Kanchana and leaves in the jungle in front of a tremple and comes back to the village.
Kanchana meets a man called Badri who can also see the same designs on the saree which no one elase can see expect Kanchana.
Kanchana enters Thenkasi to meet her grand parents (Kasinathan and wife) A little girl helps Kanchana by telling her the way to Kasinathan's house. Kanchana is surprised when she comes to know that the little girl's name is also Kanchana.
Her grand parents are so worried that she is planning to visit Sithaiyam Kottai. Paatti strictly tells her that she can not go to Sithaiyan kottai where Paramesh and family live. They will harm her. But some how Kanchana reaches Sithaiyan Kotai.
There is an old lady with a suruttu in her mouth always...who lives in a big house in SK ( sithaiyan Kotai)
Suruttu Kelavi comes to the house and shouts." amma...when you touch this soil only everything will become alright..."
Kanchana's grandmother advises her and scolds her not go to Sitthayamkottai.In the same house..Kasinathan's sister Rajamma also lives. She has some power and amman usually comes on her and she tells the truth. She wanrs that Kanchana can not go Sithaiyan Kottai.(SK)
Village Officer ( VO) Ravi Shankar
Ravishankar, a Village Officer comes to Sitthayan Kottai and asks the people for a rental house to reside. Ravishankar is confused with their response. He later comes to Parameshwar swamigal's place. Suruttu Kelavi helps Ravishankar. Kanchana's grandmother asks Surendhar for a help..to stop Kanchana from going to SK.
Parameshwar's family is angry on Suruttu Kelavi for giving accommodation to the VO Ravishankar. They are also angry with Kasinathan. Parameshwar's son tells his father to kill Kasinathan's family. But they say not to be in a hurry.
Here in KAsinathan's house...Kanchana asks the servant maid to help her in wearing that saree. But Rajamma who is in trance shouts," nee kattaatheh...dont wear that" After this incident...Kanchana starts seeing all those water falls scenes...where she is in the water drowining while two men are fighting...in her mind. She sleeps but again the same thing happens...she gets up and starts drawing the whole thing on the walss with her blood...which oozes from the finger tips.
Everyone is worried about Kanchana's condition and Sundar asks Kanchana to throw away that saree but she refuses.

Meantime Badri comes there and introduces himself as a Sthabathi who learns to build temples as per olden hisory. He asks Kanchana to learn more about the saree...she only can understand the sootchumangal by practising it carefully. He asks her to go and see a Bramha Yogi who is good Nadi Josiyam. He knows about her previous birth..you must be a reincarnation of a previous birth.
Kanchana meets this Yogi who tells that Kanchana has to find the truth after sacrificing seven lives...there is some importance of the number seven in her life...she will go a forest where there si some bad Shakti is roaming..which can be killed only by a female...she will get helps from someone invisible...all the answers are hidden in the saree..she has...there may be seven more sarees of the same kind...Telling all this he hands over the notes he wrote whatever he told her so far. The same night Bramha Yogi is murdered by someone.
Kasinathan's Son Shiva Shankaran calls from USA. ( KAnchana's dad) Paatte tells about KAnchana's visit there. SHiva is surprised to hear that as he is thinking that she went to Europe on a study tour. He is scared that something might happen to her. Police files a murder case of Yogi. BAdri goes to the Sudu Kaadu and collects the Ashes of Brahma Yogi to do the last right prayers.
It is night time Kanchana is shocked to see the little girl in her room. She discusses about her dream. Little Kanchna tells that Kanchana should continue her journey and find those 7 more sarees.
In SK a man whose face is covered by the hood of his jacket comes and meets Ravishankar the VO and hands over some papers to him and he asks Ravi to follow the map carefully and find the "stuff" soon. He goes away.
As Paattee stopped Kanchana from going to Sithaiyan Kotai ..she tells she is leaving to chennai with Sundar ... As they are near to SK a begger with one hand comes in front of the car and asks Kanchana to go back..On their way the car gets stcuk in the mud...an old man comes and lifts the car and helps them. They both were surprised to see the strength of the old man...
Paramesh is in porayers and he feels some bad vibes...he comes into the house and shows everyone the photo of his great grand father...which bleeds from the eyes...Paramesh's father tells that it is bad omen..he shivers..Dheena and his mother makes him drink some water...he is so scared. From a room inside we hear some female voice talking," appa...dont be afraid..if not our enemies will get stronger...be prepared to meet iour enemy soon"
The car with SUndar and Kanchana enters Sithaiyan Kottai...
