WU- 15th december, 2012 "ramon's murder"

A magician (jadugar RAMON) is performing in a magic show. He puts his head on a board and a 70 inches long steel blade, which is sharp enough to cut any person, is going to fall on his neck. His assistants lower the rope and the blade drops. Magician's head is cut from his throat and falls in a basket. His assistant picks up his head and places it on a wooden table and the magician opens his eyes. He then gets up and stand all well in front of the audience. The speaker than tells that this is no magic but actually a trick and explains that the place where the blade falls is made of sponge and the magician puts his head inside the basket before the blade hits it. His assistant then picks up a puppet head from the basket which is wearing the same mask as the magician. Another assistant is under the wooden table and there is a small sponge hole in the table from which she takes her head out, which is covered with the same mask as of the magician.  The assistant who took the fake head from the box now places the scarf under the mask of the assistant's head that is on the table. The assistant under the wooden table opens her eyes when the camera is zoomed at her and the audience thinks that it's all magic. The shoot is then stopped for a few minutes so that preparation for next trick can be made. Magician is standing behind the stage and checking some huge steel barrel. A worker comes there carrying some things in his hand and notices him. The show is on air again. The magician now will be locked in a barrel which is filled with water and he will be hand-cuffed. He has to break the barrel to get out of it alive and he has 2 min for doing this. He sits inside and the can is locked. His assistants hold a curtain and stand in front of the can, so that the audience cannot see it. The curtain is dropped after 2 minutes but the magician has not been able to come out. Everyone on the set panic and they open the lock but it's too late. The magician died.

ETF comes to investigate. Rathore asks ramon's assistant, aniket what happened here and he tells him and arjun that usually when they do this trick, the assistants when locking the barrel take out the fake screws so that the upper layer of the barrel can be opened and ramon can come out before the curtain falls down. But this time someone plugged in real screws which made locked the barrel layer and as a result ramon died. He further says that ramon always checks all his equipment's before doing the trick. Rathore asks if he has any enemy. Aniket says that all other magicians are his enemies as he made their magic fail. Ramon always wore a mask and no one knew his real identity. Once a magician jadugar SAJU said he will perform a magic. He will cremate himself and come out alive. But ramon made the reality behind his trick public which brought humiliation for sarjun and he announced that he will kill the man behind this mask. Arjun asked how many people knew the man behind the mask. Aniket replied only three; he, the channel's executive producer hina and ramon himself. Arjun asked him if they were shifting from here as he saw things packed in bones back stage. Aniket replied yes ramon accepted an offer from another channel so we had to shift from here. Our contract with this channel is over but the channel wanted us to stay and offered ramon double money for his show but ramon didn't accept their offer. Rathore asks arjun to visit saju's place and he will investigate here with shree. arjun-chotu reach saju's house and he is hanged with a pole with his hands tied and there is a wooden bar tied around his neck. His assistant puts a sword in that wooden bar. Chotu takes out his gun and points it at the assistant. Arjun calls saju's name and he opens his eyes and has a grin on his face. Chotu is shocked and asks how this is possible. Saju says it's magic while arjun says it's just a trick and explains that the sword wasn't pointed so it must be made of a flexible material and the wooden bar around his neck had a small opening hole through which the sword is passed and another hole at the other end through which the sword is taken out. saju says one was ramon who exposed his tricks and now it's you ACP arjun rawte. Arjun says it's nothing unusual even a small kid can tell the the reality behind this trick. Saju says even though he is not happy at ramon's death but he is not sad either. Ramon exposed all magic tricks which are against the rules of their profession and this made many magicians jobless. But he didn't kill ramon as he was doing a magic-show at the time of his death. Chotu asks saju for his autograph as his niece is his fan.

Rathre asks hina, the channel producer, about her involvement in ramon's death but she denies. Shree says that they have heard a lot about her being violent when she is angry. She had thrown a glass on her assistant a few days ago and she once threw a laptop on of the channel's writer's head because he gave her the script one hour late from the decided time. She said that's she has some anger management issues but she is not mad. Ramon was her friend and his show was the most successful show of her channel. She tells them about a paper that ramon received a few days ago. The paper s blank but aniket heats the page with a lighter and the text appears "you will die".
Back in ETF office, everyone is discussing the possible culprits. One is saju and other is hina. Shree shows arjun the magic writing on the paper which hina gave them. Arjun asks chotu to match it with saju's autograph and the writing matches. Arjun-rathore goes to saju's house. Arjun sees some articles in a file along with a photograph. Saju is interrogated. Arjun says that the picture he got from his house shows his assistant, nimi, who is the same one doing ramon's shows also. Shree says that he talked to nimi on phone the night before ramon's death. Saju says that he implanted nimi in saju's gang because he wanted to expose his face in media and that's why he also sent him that note. Nimi called him that night to tell him that she has seen ramon's face. He showed them the mms. Rathore ask shree-chotu to bring nimi for interrogation. They have a tough time chasing nimi as she hides in one place after the other. She finally steps in a box covered with a curtain and comes from other side but to her surprise she is in ETF office. She tells rathore that she joined ramon's group a month ago as directed by saju. But she wasn't able to see his face. The night before ramon's death, hina and ramon were having a fight and ramon took off his mask in anger. She clicked a pic and sent it to saju. She didn't murder him. When asked where she was at the time of the accident. She said on stage. Chotu said that she wasn't there in the video. She says she was the one who took out her head from under the table. She was wearing a mask. Arjun asked her what was it that hina and ramon were fighting for? She said she just heard hina saying to ramon that he again deceived her.
arjun-rathore went to ask hina about this. She said she was hurt because ramon claimed that he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but when the time came he said that he can't make a commitment as his career is unstable. She further said that ramon that night apologized to her and said he is moving to another channel to make more money and have a good future with her. She showed arjun-rathore the gift he gave her. Lease papers of their new home.
arjun-rathore come out from there. They stop near a door. They enter inside. It's the studio and rehearsel is going on. They ask that ramon is dead then who is doing the show. They say aniket, his assistant. Aniket comes there and says that he knows all of ramon's tricks as he has been his assistant for so long. He shows him a magic and arjun says what's exciting in it. You went out from one side and your body double comes out from the other. Aniket replies that every magician has a body double. Arjun asks who was ramon's body double? Aniket says he was.

In ETF office, chou tells arjun that one of ramon's assistant saw him in studio#3 and after 3-4 minutes another assistant saw him in studio#7 and the break for the during the show was for 4 minutes. Arjun figures out the distance between the two studios to be 200 meters and ramon can't travel this distance in 4 minutes. He tells everyone that ramon was in studio#3 while aniket was in studio#7 where he plugged in real screws in the barrel.
ETF go to arrest him but he trciks them nand manages to hide. Arjun sees him and follows aniket. They end up in a room where there are loads of mirrors and both arjun and aniket can see there reflections in every mirror making it impossible for arjun to recognize the real aniket. Aniket confesses that he murdered ramon because ramon used him. Ramon offered him a deal. Aniket's father was a magician and ramon wanted aniket to tell him his father's magic tricks, which he did. But ramon made him the assistanet and took all the credit for it. he then signed a deal with another channel for a show with his own name. that angered aniket and he murdered ramon. Arjun says that may be aniket didn't read Mahabharata. Arjun pulls out a flash light and it reflects from the mirror. aniket blinks his eyes and lowers his face and arjun faigures out the real aniket. He then fires at him and aniket falls down. Arjun says that I am arjun and I can break any chakarvyuh. ETF arrests aniket. Case solved.
Precap: gangs who kill innocent people mercilessly, creating havoc in the city. Arjun says there are people behind this who are seeing all this sitting in their homes. We have to catch them.
