I think lie detector test was for bringing in the open three things
1. Rajeev's barinwashing against vishal to sana, his jealousy to wards their friendship
2. To make vishal understand karishma was indeed using him
3. ashka is actually the person who go on pouncing on sana and unnecessarily touches her .

Looking at the closeness of Nik and Urvashi, BB could've asked more personal questions to Nik but what did he ask...whether Kar and him ever dated? Heck, everyone inside and outside the house knew that!
