Sorry for going off topic, but I too was wondering if Soumya and Karan were actually besties in real life. I didn't know this. Or was it just made up!?

^^it's obvious..Soumya never came into picture till just about a week or so before the news of 'the serial' hit the media..

when he sent krits last msg ,that time only it was all over finaly he is moving on from being maniac lover
