Couple days after wedding
It is late evening, the light of the day gave way to darkness of the night. Shiv and Anandi are in their car driving home to their haveli in Udaipur. 'Please...Yeh baat ghar mein kisi ko pata nahi chalna chahiye..' ' Shiv tells Anandi with seriousness reflecting in his voice. Anandi nods and adjusts her hair before wiping tiny tear drops that are about to escape from her kohl outlined eyes. She glances a look at him through the corner of her eyes, his lips are pursed and he appears to be very upset with her. She takes a deep sigh.
Not wanting to face Shiv at the moment, Anandi decides to take a moonlit stroll all by herself in the garden. Daddu notices her indifference to join Shiv in their room and quietly joins her in her stroll. Slowly, he enquires 'Meri bahu ki muskurahat kaha chali gayi ?' Anandi is startled seeing Daddu as he continues 'Anandi beta tum mujhe batao, baat kya hai ? Kuch toh gadbad hai. Shiv ne tumse kuch kaha kya ? Abhi mein jawan ki khabar leta hoon' and is about to call out his name. Anandi stops Daddu and tells 'nahi Daddu..unhone kuch nahi kiya.' She recalls and tells Daddu what had happened in the evening after some coercion from him.
***FB of that Early evening**
While Anandi & Shiv were on their stroll in one of the beautiful Udaipur palace gardens everything seemed just perfect. The sun was almost going to set. The twilight dawns imparting orange hues in the distant horizon. Birds were chirping seemingly in tune with each other,may be in the happiness of getting back to their homes. The evening breeze was cool and their hands were getting brushed once in a while,while walking pretty close to each other, bringing forth the heat in their cheeks in the form of faint blushes. Everything was going upto their utmost liking until Shiv got a call and excused himself to take the call.
Anandi waited for him and then realized he is taking a little bit of time. She started walking by herself and unknowingly reached a bit far from Shiv. She reached the top of a small hill. She felt so refreshed and from there she could see the entire Udaipur city. The scenery brought a huge smile on her lips. Suddenly she started hearing some cries. Moving closer to the sound she saw behind a rock, few men beating a girl. She was furious and was shocked at the sight. She immediately rushed towards them and tried to stop the men. The men were enraged at her interruption and pointed a gun at Anandi to let go of the girl. As Anandi did not relent the men scanned her from top to bottom, released the girl and started advancing towards Anandi with the pistol.

Daddu was shocked hearing this. Anandi continued her account as to how Shiv came to her rescue just in time, beat the men badly and rescued the girl too. Daddu is now worried for Anandi. But, Anandi assured him 'Nahi Daddu.. Mujhe darr nahi hai.. Meine Jeitsar mein kaafi ladai ladi aise maamlon mein..' 😎 Daddu is confused and asks her what the problem is then. Anandi tells him that Shiv is angry with her because she went all by herself to protect the girl. She accounts to Daddu what Shiv had asked her as soon as he was done with the job on hand 'Anandiji, Mujhe yakeen nahi hota ki aapne phir se aisa kiya. Last time kya huva tha aapko yaad hai na ? Aise super woman banne ka kya matlab ? Aapko doosron ki chinta hoti hai, apni kabhi nahi. Yeh Jeitsar nahi hain and moreover abhi is waqt sarpanch toh nahi hai, par phir bhi chali gayi,un goodon se ladne akele akele. Ab meri patni ho aap. Agar aapko kuch ho jaata toh ?'
Listening to her account, Daddu said 'Oh.. toh yeh hai problem.. Bhai, mera jawan ne jo kaha woh teek kaha...' Anandi immediately tried to protest 'Par Daddu..' As he continues 'Haan.. tumne jo kiya woh bhi teek tha par beta ab tum sirf apni Dadisa ki haveli ki beti na rahi.. Aur bhi zimedaariyan hai tum par.. tum humare ghar ki bahu ho, Shiv ki patni ho.. Agar tum Shiv ki jagah hoti toh tum kya karti yeh batao mujhe ? '
Anandi replies sheepishly 'Mujhe pata hai Daddu' lekin mein kya karu.. Jab mein aise zulm dekh thi hoon toh sehan nahi ho pata. Kuch nahi soojtha aur bachane ki koshish mein lag jathi hoon !'
Daddu consolingly tells her 'Beta.. Tum aur Shiv bohat hi similar ho. But, ab doosre ke baare mein sochne ke alawa apne aur ek doosre ki zindagi ka bhi sochna chahiye...'
Anandi nods, saying 'Aap se baat karke mann bahot halka huva Daddu '.Thank you..!' Daddu smiles 'Anytime beta..' Anandi bids him good night and goes up to their room thinking of saying sorry to Shiv. She goes into the room and sees he is busy on the phone. She waits for him and decides to lay down till he came but, soon falls asleep.
The next morning., having woken up earlier than him, she leaves him a sorry note before going down to the kitchen saying 'Collector Sahab, Mein janti hoon aap mujhse naraaz hai. aur aapka narazagi bhi jayaz hai. Lekin mein kya karu aise mauke mein khud hosh mein nahi rehti ... Aage se mein dhyan rakhungi aur apne jaan kathre mein nahi dalungi kyunki mein aap ke saath apni sari zindagi jeena chahthi hoon naki pehle ki tarah jahan mera jeevan ka matlab kuch nahi tha. Ab aap mere humsafar banne ke baad, yeh mera jeevan sirf mera nahi raha.. Aap ka bhi hai aur aap ke liye bhi hai !' ❤️
Shiv is enthralled to read the note from her. But, he does not want to give in so easily and he decides to fake his anger.. 😈 He goes down into the dining area where everyone is getting ready for breakfast. Anandi though is making tea is constantly looking at the stairs. She accidently pours the milk on the kitchen platform while pouring into the cups. 😆 Ira and Meenu notice this and are amused at Anandi's behavior. Ira asks 'Anandi beta, tum kisi ki rah dekh rahi ho'? Sab toh yahin hai'. Kya dekh rahi ho baar baar seediyon ki taraf ?' Meenu chides Ira 'Didi aap bhi naa.. Anandi ka Collector sahab abhi tak neeche nahi aaye haina... isiliye.. Kyun Anandi ? Teek kaha na meine ? ' Anandi is shocked at her sasumas teasing and blushingly carries the breakfast to the table.
Shiv just then comes to her side and hands over a folded note to her. With a racing heart she quickly unfolds the note surprised to find her own note as well as an envelope along with it. Perplexed, she starts reading what Shiv had written to her 'Anandi, tumne yeh letter kisi collector ko likhi hai na ? Ye envelop lo aur dalo isme. I will post it soon for you !' 🤣
Looking at her confused expression, he takes an apple from the fruit bowl, circling around her making a fleeting contact with her just enough to make her blush and shiver at the same time and whispers slowly 'Kyunki iss ghar mein toh koi collector nahi rehta aur humare kamre mein toh bilkul bhi nahi..!'
Anandi though is shocked at what Shiv just said yet she understood what he is hinting at and pouts.
