LMYAM is ending as expected. This show was too lame!

The female leads both are robotic & lacks acting skills esp in romantic scenes. There are other actresses in the same time slot who are much better than them then why the viewers will waste their time watching them.Edited by SACHIKO123 - 11 years ago

Sachiko123 That is so true!Proper screening should have been done to select the appropriate match for Anoop and Sahil's characters. Himmanshoo and Asish are very good actors who didn't deserve to be cast in a film that failed to complete 100 episodes Edited by Keshawn - 11 years ago

It's true that this turned into a saas-bahu serial rather than sticking to being a message worthy serial.

The creatives and writers really slacked on the story.  They thought that by adding a few masala scenes, a wicked tongue daughter in law, a few near to death Sahil scenes and the 'other' woman would cure the show.  None of this worked at all.

Lack of concentration on the chemistry of the leads

Lack of conviction of actual love between Shivani Sahil

Weird reason for a mother to be upset at son for so many years (Anup)

Bad acting of Shivani, very stiff, cold and akward

Bad acting of Shivani's family (except her sister, who looked the most normal)

Akward acting by Sahil - who did not fit well.

Mansi Anup looked good, but Mansi looked as if she was constipated sometimes.

Rajlakshmi was good, so were the bua and her husband.

Sandhya and Mansi's sister in law were convincing to a degree.

They put too much sole concentration on one single story - Mansi and Anup and Anup and his mother (weak story).  In the meantime, there was no room for much to happen.

They could have used the opportunity to show the pros and cons of love and arranged marriages, which they tried to show to an extent.  The story and the actors lacked the dynamism.

But I have to say that the actors were not convincing us either.

Was expecting much more from 'Love Marriage...': Rishika Mihani

Television actress Rishika Mihani, who plays Shivani in "Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage" isn't happy with the way the show is shaping up and is eagerly waiting for it to get back to the original track.

Excellent review of LMYAM

LMYAM though based on didactic messages was plagued with virtually every conceivable kind of problem including poor cinematography, inexperienced writers, complicated plot and storyline, terrible acting, absence of romantic chemistry, resulting in a substandard end production, intending network and audience rejecting the series.
