Since there was no update so far, I decided to post one
The episode begins w/ the previous episode, where the judge asks Viraj how he pleads these charges. Viraj pleads guilty, shocking Ananya & Raj and everyone else. The judge announces his sentence of 14 years imprisonment. As they are getting ready to disperse, Viraj winks at Unniyal, who is in the courtroom. Ananya sees that and is now wondering what new scheme is he up to?
At home, the members of the Mahila Samiti visit her and tell her that they don't know whether to apologize to her or congratulate her, but they thank her for putting Viraj in his place. Later, she receives a phone call from Viraj stating that she hasn't heard the last of him, and that he'll be back. This unsettles her, and she visits the jail, where the inspector assures her that Viraj has had no communication w/ anyone. Elsewhere, Unniyal is shown sitting w/ a tape playing back Viraj's call to Ananya. Ananya visits Viraj in jail, but seeing nothing and no response, they leave.
Ananya visits her office, where her boss is ready to make an announcement. He tells them that they have Viraj's own statement sent to them, which they are going to play for the public, since it's a surefire crowd puller. Ananya & Raj give up, and decide to just watch the proceedings. Unniyal assures them that 'prabhu' is up to no mischief this time, and after handing the tape, leaves. The boss this time sits in the announcer's desk, and tells everyone that they will be playing Viraj's message to the world.
Ananya is in front of the mirror talking to Jhanvi and telling her that she is amazed that 2 people who never met and who have no relationship are so close to each other. She doesn't know what such a relationship is called, but it doesn't even matter. Today, she's feeling much more at peace having brought justice to Jhanvi.
The recording shows Viraj in his usual romantic setting - candles, flowers and everything else. He begins by describing his love for Jhanvi, and how she meant everything to him, and how he tried his best to make her perfect. He mentioned how he would have left Jhanvi voluntarily had she simply stated that she hated him 😕 and then asks whether that was so wrong? He answers his own question by stating that it was! He thought that if Jhanvi didn't reciprocate, it was b'cos she didn't care for his feelings, but now he realizes that the reason she didn't reciprocate was that she was in pain. All this is being watched by random people in different places. A lot of flashbacks are shown of Viraj & Jhanvi's happier moments, and Viraj concludes by stating that he was wrong! Ananya is stunned to hear this, while Viraj continues that he wishes that while every man should have a wife like Jhanvi, no woman should have a husband like Viraj. Everybody is surprised at his statement.
At the river bank, Ananya stands alone (no Uma 😕) w/ an urn containing Jhanvi's ashes, and scatters them in the river. She states that today, her heart is feeling much lighter, and it seems like she's receiving a message from Jhanvi telling her that she forgives Viraj. Ananya says that if that's what Jhanvi feels about Viraj, then that's what Ananya feels as well. Today, finally, Jhanvi has received justice as well as mukti.
The final scene is that of Viraj in jail as a bonded laborer. He is working more than even the other inmates, and one cop tells the other that it seems that he is punishing himself for something. At the end of it, the cop just orders Viraj to stop and get back inside, and Viraj complies. In his cell, Viraj is busy drawing something. After a while, he's shown giving finishing touches to Jhanvi's picture, and on that somber note, the serial ends.
