Change is the need of the hour, say TV celebs on Republic Day
It was on 26 January 1950, that the Constitution of India came into force. And today, we are celebrating the 64th year of being Republic. But, in spite of population explosion, there are a lot more laws and regulations that need to be brought in place. For, had that been the case something like the Delhi gang rape case would have never happened or we wouldn't have read stories of rapes happening every other day in the papers. Moreover, we would have never been scared of our lawmakers more than the lawbreakers.
Keeping in mind the above mentioned incident, we got in touch with a
few television celebrities to know their take, on the changes they
envisage that our country needs to bring about in the coming years for a
better society.
"People do not really follow rules in our country. In fact the lawmakers break them the maximum number of times. While you are travelling you will notice that there are times when you do not know if the signal is red or green as a political party's board is hanging on it," maintained Karan V Grover aka Gulshan of Hum Aapke Hai In-Laws.
