Episode starts with Republic day celebration, kids on the streets running around with flags in their hands, little kids selling goods at traffic light. Whole ETF dressed up, all men in three-piece suits, Ayesha in a sari stop at a traffic light. A kid comes with bunch of flags in his hands, Arjun rolls the window down and the kid says he is the biggest fan of ETF and wants to be a police officer just like him.
All team smiles at the kid indulgently and Arjun caresses the little boys head and say sure you will be one just go to night school and study hard he then buys a flag from the boy. The boy compliments Shree's ipad and asks him to take a picture; Shree takes a picture of the little boy.
ETF at Republic day celebration, commissioner is giving a speech where the officers who died in line of duty are being honored. Riya is mentioned first, whole team gets sad hearing this, Riya's mom is called on stage, and whole team is looking at her mom who is crying. Rathore goes to her and extends his hand to her and walks her towards the stage.
Shree is first to have a FB of Riya of the time when they went to investigate about the missing Ganpati idol. Chotu next in line remembering the scene in the elevator with Riya and the time they went to go see the premier movie of their favorite actors.
As Rathore passes Arjun with Riya's mom Arjun has his own FB of when Riya thanked him for helping her get over her first shooting and him saying you are welcome. He then remembers her swallowing the poisoned ball, him screaming her name and catching her in his arms. FB of her dialogue saying sir I completed my final mission. The hospital scene after her death when he closes her eyes for the final time, Aww..the pain and sadness is so hard to watch.
We see Mrs. Mukerjee on stage and Ayesha watching the whole team in curiosity as Rathore again takes Mrs. Mukerjee's hand and escorts her to her seat.
Next Lokhande's daughter is called on stage. Arjun has a FB of his conversation with her after the case was solved.
It's nighttime Arjun is driving the SUV, he is alone, suddenly the little boy from the morning (Raju) comes in front of the SUV and Arjun stops suddenly and gets out to ask what happened. Raju says some people are following him, they also killed his friend Bablu.
Suddenly Raju looks over Arjun's shoulder, he turns to see some man in the shadow and runs after him, leaving Raju behind when he comes back after chasing the guy Raju is not by the SUV. Arjun calls Shree and tells him to check if a street kid was killed in the last 24 hours. Arjun then has a FB of the morning scene.
Next Shree and Arjun at the morgue to check the body of a child who was found on that day. Arjun gets angry on the inspector for injustice based on his assumptions of street children's behavior and habits. Shree backs Arjun, and Arjun gets more angry when he realizes that the inspector did not even bother to inquire about the scratch marks on the child's body.
Arjun and Shree leave after instructing the inspector to find out everything about the boy.
Scene shift to Raju who is hiding somewhere and crying.
Arjun and Shree stops the SUV again at the same traffic signal as the day before, Shree observes and says nothing has changed here but Arjun points out that it has changed, that all the kids today are different from yesterday, usually there is a fixed group of kids at a specific signals but today all kids are different means someone is making them do this.
They notice a man talking to a little boy then take the boy away, they follow and see that the man is taking the boy to another boy and when the boy runs Arjun and Shree steps out with their guns aimed.
The two men are taken to ETF office where they say that they are social workers that help the kids who are stuck in child labor situations. Nitin and Satish are the two men and they work for the NGO. Satish tells that he was trying to find out about Raju.
Satish tells Arjun he met Raju and his friend at a NGO drive day before the republic day and that Raju had called the NGO helpline the night before and he has sounded scared.
Satish tells them Raju was an orphan, and grew up on the streets. Arjun shows them the picture of the dead boy, Satish recognizes him as Raju's friend he met on the 25th. Bablu worked as a servant in someone's home, Satish tells them that he had questioned Bablu about the marks on his arm when he came with Raju to the awareness drive but Bablu evaded them with a made up answer.
Bablu's background is revealed to ETF.
Recap of the sequence of events and discussion of the case in ETF conference room; Shree checks the NGO phone records while Rathore, Chottu and Ayesha goes to the house where Bablu had worked.
Shalini Bablu's employer is being questioned who is unaware of Bablu's death. She denies abusing Bablu which angers Rathore, Ayesha and Chottu. She tells them the next door maid had brought Bablu to them. They leave to question the maid, Ayesha stops and has a word with Shalini on her treatment of Bablu. We see Shalini's son listening to the convo and then scratching out the picture he was drawing.
Shree tells Arjun about the location of the phone booth where Raju called the NGO from, they go to investigate the area.
Ayesha, Rathore, and Chotu run into two women as they are leaving the building one of the woman is Ganga, the next door maid. She tries to lie to them about Bablu but finally admits to making money off of Bablu, she is arrested. Rathore goes to investigate Chandra, the guy who paid Ganga for Bablu.
Chandra tries to outsmart Rathore but Chottu and Ayesha catch him. When he is being asked about Bablu he unintentionally reveals about his gang who had gone after Bablu after Ganga informed them about Bablu running away, he tries to backtrack but tells the truth about how he and his gang made kids sell things on the street or made them beg after Chottu slaps him and looks at him angrily.
He denies knowing Raju when Arjun shows him the picture of Raju but Arjun puts a gun in his mouth in anger to make him tell the truth but he says he swears he has never seen Raju. Arjun gives him a pad and a paper to Chandra and tells him to write down everything he knows about his gang or otherwise he will write Chandra's bad fate.
News clips of ETF saving kids and exposing the people who abuse and make them work on the streets is shown. ETF asking all the gangs about Raju, and it is shown how they are searching for the little boy.
Inspector calls Arjun to tell him that Bablu's parents are found and they have made the identification of Bablu's body also. Bablu's parents tell ETF they did not sell Bablu they had sent him for his welfare through some kids welfare program about a year ago.
Team realizes that Bablu and many parents of many other children were duped by people posing as government officials to bring the kids to the city and sell them to gang's like Chandra's gang to make them work on the streets.
EFT again discusses the case and the sequence of events; they link it to NGO and Nitin, the guy who told them the false story of Bablu. Satish is ruled out as a suspect but not Nitin. Arjun asks Shree to trace the calls during Nitin's duty and they find out that Nitin had received a call from Shalini's house.
NGO office, Nitin receives a call from Raju, who tell him where he is. ETF reaches NGO office but Nitin is gone, Arjun again asks Shree to check if there was in coming call on the landline of ETF office.
Nitin has found Raju, he comes out of the hiding but Raju recognizes Nitin and runs from there. ETF has also reached the place.
Nitin catches Raju and holds a knife against Raju's neck, but Satish comes from behind and hits Nitin, Raju runs to Arjun and then Arjun shoots the knife out of Nitin's hand.
Nitin is arrested, back story of what Nitin did is shown and how Bablu wanted to leave the city and called Nitin after recognizing Nitin from the picture he saw during the awareness drive, narrated by Rathore, Arjun, Ayesha and Raju.
BG music of Mujhko toh yay Zindagi after a long time with
Arjun's dialogues regarding kids and their future, and then we hear the song,
Raju comes to Arjun and salutes him, and a he salutes back with a smile and says Jai
Hind. Episodes ends on Arjun.
