Aalaiyamani, a contestant from Villupuram district participates. He had written lyrics, composed a tune and presents it before the judge 'Mahathi'. He is rejected. 

Overseas participant from Malaysia gets rejected.

A guy from  J & K settled in Chennai for the past 7 years participates. He gets through for the 3 rd round.

Manick Vinayagam sir is the judge. The participant started to sing a song in tamil but MV asked to sing a song in hindi.

The J& K contestant too was selected..
