TVD Episode 14: Written Update

We are on the brink of a monumental development!   We're so close to the cure! We're going to raise the most powerful immortal creature ever!  What, are you doing something else more important than watching tonight's Valentine Vampire Diaries?

In the woods in Nova Scotia,  Professor Shane, Jeremy and Bonnie have disappeared to look for the well of souls.  (or was that Indiana Jones.)   Damon has been captured by one of The Five.

Rebekah and Elena and Stefan are trying to figure out what to do. So they take the Hunter's Sword from Klaus and try to use those markings.  Elena says she understands why Stefan wants to become human, but Stefan says it really has nothing to do with her.

Caroline is trying to decipher the sword.  Silas has the means of his destruction with him.  Turns out there's only one dose of the cure.

The new vampire hunter, Vaughn, is schlepping Damon along, hoping to use him as some sort of trade.  They come across a dead body.  Apparently someone else is around saving people and killing people.

Down in the weeping well, Bonnie says she won't let Shane raise Silas.  She says she'll kill Shane if he tries to hurt anyone.  Bonnie tries to hone in on Jeremy's tattoos for power.   She opens up a passageway but then won't let Professor Shane through.

Klaus tells Rebekah there's only one dose of the cure. She gets to the weeping well to see Damon and Vaughn standing off.

Everyone finds out there's only one dose of the cure.  Elena and Stefan realize Bonnie's spell isn't going to hold Klaus, and that Klaus is going to kill Tyler and pretty much everyone else.

Down in the well of souls, Bonnie's grandma appears and says they have to revive Silas and feed him.

Jeremy stops Bonnie and says it's not real.

Back in Mystic Falls, Caroline tells Klaus not to kill Tyler.  Klaus says too bad.  And he says that Caroline likes being a vampire, being strong and fearless and ageless.   Caroline begs for his life, and Klaus says Tyler should run and get a head start before he kills him.

Stefan saves Damon from the hunter. Damon tells Stefan to give the Cure to Elena.   Rebekah says Elena may not love Damon if Elena becomes human again.

Caroline and Tyler are all sad and saying goodbye. There's sad music in the background in case you didn't know it was sad.  Tyler says they're immortal and they'll find a way to see each other again, but he'll live a happy life without her.

Professor Shane, still hanging out with a broken leg, sees his dead wife, who says everything is going to be just fine.

Jeremy and Bonnie find Silas. He's frozen in vampire statue. Bonnie says he has to be fed blood to get the cure.

Aha!  So the cure is meant for Silas so he can bring everyone back.  Now I see.

Vaughn stabs Bonnie and says they've got to raise Silas, and tells Jeremy it has to be right now. Now Jeremy and Vaughn are fighting. Vaughn is about to kill Jeremy when Elena zooms in and saves him.

Jeremy wants to help Bonnie but Elena has changed and gotten mean. No wait, that's Katherine!  She slits Jeremy's wrist and bites him and feeds him to Silas, who them breaks Jeremy's neck.  Then Katherine grabs the cure and bolts.

So Jeremy is dead. Or is he?  Bonnie is dying.  This does not look good.

Next week: Elena has apparently gone insane.
